We came for an FC Cincinnati watch party tonight(3/1/25). We knew the drafts would be good because we have been to the main brewery before. The one bartender we had to order drinks from upstairs was drunker than a skunk. We actually went downstairs to order more drinks and food because we didn't want her to mess the orders up and she was just uncomfortable to order from. The food was well below par unfortunately because we heard great things. $35 for putin and there were maybe 4 cheese curds on the order and there were more bones than actual beef. The pretzel we ordered on the menu was supposed to have a brie whipped cheese and it came with a cheese ball covered in diced onions. I normally don't leave reviews because I try to give places the benefit of the doubt and I managed bars/pubs for 15+ years. But this was just unpleasant and not a place we will ever visit again. At least the beers tasted good! As I was finishing typing this up the drunk bartender grabbed our plates after eating and ran right into the corner of the wall and almost fell over. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them.
We had the Greens and Artichoke Dip. The greens were undercooked and the bread was over charred. Also had Fish and Chips. Fish was good. I did not care for the shoestring fries. Hushpuppies were very good.

Ethereal Public House was an awesome space to hold a wedding After Party. The upstairs space was reserved and provided the perfect space for everyone to hangout, have drinks, Karaoke and sports on TV. It has a casual vibe and was a great atmosphere for keeping the wedding festivities going. I would highly recommend that you consider reserving the upstairs space at Ethereal in downtown Lexington for an event

The beer is delicious. The food is stellar. There’s real games (cards and stuff). We need these places so much.

Tried the ribeye it was brutal. The beer and Brussel salad were good. If you want a steak go elsewhere.

Good beer and lots of board games for families. Pretzels were disappointing, more like bread than normal pretzels…

Thought we would be having bar food. The meal was delicious. I got the brussel sprout salad with a side of chicken. My husband got the steak. Sounds boring but it was incredible. Fun atmosphere & good beer. We will definitely be going back!

I'm so happy we stopped in for a bite to eat! This place is so cozy and the food is really good. We got a pretzel to share and I got a mushroom burger and fries and my bf got the fish an chips. While we waited we grabbed a board game from the shelf and played a few rounds of Battleship. We would def stop in again!

We enjoyed dinner here this summer and had a lovely meal. We shared the wedge salad which was nice. We also shared the patty melt and schnitzel. The flavor of the patty melt especially the rye bread was delicious. The fries were fine. The pork schnitzel was nicely breaded and crispy but a little dry. In fairness, we asked for the vinegar on the side but it didn't come with it so that may have helped. The star of the show were the dumplings. I could have made an entire meal out of just those light and delicious pillows. My husband enjoyed the lengthy beer selection. The atmosphere is very much that of a pub and you order at the bar. Overall a good meal and would return to try other things on the menu.

We went here because it was listed as a "gastropub", I can only imagine someone did that as a joke. This place has beer taps and more of a pub vibe. The beer was hit or miss with the lagers being flawed or not made with lager yeast. They had a pretty good selection of bourbon but we were there for the food/beer. I was with a group and we ordered several different dishes. Stay away from the sandwiches in that we mostly found the buns too stale and not much flavor. I had the "Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich" which wasn't even close, more like a fried piece of chicken with hot sauce on it. Overall we found the food to be more PUB quality/variety.

I had the pleasure of being served by Chase W., and I can't say enough about the outstanding service I received. Chase was incredibly attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with care and precision. He made sure all of our needs were met promptly and with a positive attitude. It's rare to find such dedicated service these days, and Chase truly stands out. I highly recommend seeking him out for a great experience!
