We came into this bar/restaurant just before the kitchen closed, we asked if it was too late for food, the lady in the kitchen said she was closing in five minutes, so we place our order and it was brought our to us 10 minutes later. I have to say I had some of the best chicken tenders ever. The food was delicious food and the staff were very friendly. I can highly recommend this Irish bar.

I second the last review that Quentin deserves a raise. He is the best bartender I’ve seen in Kentucky. Knows how to talk to everybody and holds down the fort all on his own. He makes a great old fashioned and creates an amazing vibe

Give Quentin a raise. He could be making 6 figures now but give him more. He sold us like 80 bucks in alcohol happily😂

Dined here on the evening of August 8th, 2024 after walking around most of the downtown area and finding most of the other venues to be a little too "hipster" and somewhat shady for my "old guy" tastes. The inside and outside The Jockey is nicely decorated in the horse country genre, and it's clean, neat and orderly inside, just like you'd expect from a well-mannered Irish Pub in Dublin. The fish and chips were excellent, and they have a good selection of Irish beers and ales on tap. Not a place to get rowdy, but a great place to enjoy some quiet time and some good food.

Wheelchair accessibility: Steps to get in. EDM shows are up on a deck with a set of stairs with no elevator.

I had only been here once when it was cheapside and the bathrooms didn't have stall doors. But Jokey Bar is great. The food has been been really good lately. The food staff is great and so friendly. I normally write long reviews having to warn people. Nothing but good things for here!

What a great atmosphere! Our bartender Andy was great & a super nice guy! Made you feel at home! Definitely stop by when you're in Lexington! ??
There are no servers, and everything is app based. You're still expected to tip when you order, and there's no or at best very minimal service (food is brought to the table). Also, went for brunch food and it wasn't available.
