I hadn't actually been to Old Chicago Pizza before. I had thought it was more upscale than a chain, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The atmosphere was more like a sports bar which is not my preferred style, but for those that enjoy sports bars I would highly recommend it. I would definitely go back just for the food. The Thai pizza was extremely good.
Peak time on a holiday weekend, but Parker made sure we were taken care of! The Thai pizza was a unique spin we wanted to try, and it was great, recommended. We also had new bacon cheeseburger rolls, fantastic! And be sure to get the pretzels with beer cheese - second time and the cheese is amazing.
Best pizza in Lexington and the late night happy hour is too! Had the Chicago 7 pizza it was delicious. Bartender was Deaton who was fabulous. Don't miss this place if you're in town for the Cats game Saturday!
