I didn’t give this location 5 stars because they are consistently out of fries. If you come an hour before they close it’s hit or miss on the fries. I feel like if you stay open until 9pm you should serve food up to that point and not turn your fryer off at 8 PM.
I’ve travelled all over the United States (43 different states), tried many types of foods, and this Penn Station near downtown Lexington on South Broadway is still my favorite restaraunt. Every sandwhich goes hard, but in particular does the Cheesesteak, Italian, and Club. 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I ordered ahead for takeout. I was greeted when I entered and went to the pickup area. The gentleman who assisted me was smiling and friendly. My food was ready at the quoted time. I had about a five-minute drive back to my office and when I started to eat my sandwich it was still steaming hot. To be honest, it hit the spot more than I expected. I actually wish I wouldn’t have put the onions on the pizza sub. I love onions but I think it took away from the flavor. That decision...
