“This place is The Truth! Absolutely top tier service, the food gave what needed to be given, and it was made immediately to order. I had the Fish and Shrimp plate with greens and Mac n' cheese along with fried cauliflower and okra on the side to share. And a Blackberry Sweet Tea and Carmel Cake with Sauce. Seafood fried to perfection. Greens seasoned with smoked turkey so you know it's real. Everything was flavorful, and how could I almost forget to mention the delicious cornbread. Salute to the chef and team because they did that!“

“My son and I had an impromptu late lunch today 7/7/2022. It’s been a long time since we’ve experienced service like this that was topped off with awesome food! The medium cooked burger with extra bacon was incredible, cooked to perfection, it was huge! The pulled pork sandwich topped with small onion rings was an unexpected tasty surprise. The French Fry’s were seasoned, served HOT and crisp just like the sandwich’s, I mean, where in Lexington do you get that?! The staff was exceptionally cordial and our food was presented before we had filled our fountain drinks. Out the door just stuffed full for $30, that’s value! My son and I had a quick debate on the way home, monthly or weekly stop 😂 Weekly for the win! Can’t wait to try breakfast!!“

He was so pleasant and cheerful, despite being the ONLY employee in the building during a lunch rush. Greeting customers, taking orders, cooking, and delivering food to tables with a smile. Like the rest of the world, Joella’s is short staffed, and that’s understandable. But I hope that the people who make the decisions are able to give this sweet man a raise or bonus or BOTH! “I tried Stella's Kentucky Deli for the first time today. I got carry-out but once getting there would’ve probably opted to dine-in if I would’ve saw the place first. It was so quaint, cozy, and the perfect amount of quirky. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I got the fried green tomato BLT (comes with chips), a side of cheese grits, and a slice of Kentucky pie. The sandwich was excellent with thick cut bacon and crispy fried green tomatoes and basil mayo, the cheese grits were thick and had a delicious savory flavor, and the Kentucky pie (pecan pie with bourbon and chocolate chips) was sweet and rich — just perfect. 10/10“

Both were wonderful, and both were some of the best I've ever had (meaning best Reuben sandwich and best Brussels sprouts. The brisket was tender and generous. Will return with a friend for a sit-down meal soon.“
