African Best Restaurant

It was my first time in Louisville, KY and I made an online order via ubereats. My order arrived and it was wrong. I called back and the person on the other end admitted they mixed my order with another customer as it was a "busy day" for them. I asked about delivering the right order and they said it would be at the end of the day as it was too bust at the moment for them. I asked to be contacted when they were on their way with the order. I was never contacted back and I did also ask for compensation but nothing was done about that either. Very poor service. Will not order from them again. They only got the meatpie order right in the entire order, and it turned out to be too salty.

I normally am not one to leave reviews. But I work at Ford Motor Company and had made a post about wanting to try authentic African cuisine. I heard that this place was one of the best. If not the best I ordered off Uber eats. I tried. fufu and egusi soup And it was one of the best things that I’ve ever experienced in my life thank you so much

We are in town for the Jack-o'-lantern Spectacular and decide to dine somewhere we hadn't been before around here. I absolutely love African food and my Fiancé has never had it before, so we decided to come here--best decision ever. The Jerk Chicken and the Jollof rice were amazing. The staff were very friendly and service was speedy. The next time we are in Louisville we will stop by here again!

It's a quite space not much activity. Service is extremely friendly. I ordered the fufu, which was a little bit more doughyer than other fufu I have had in the past. Other than the food was phenomenal.

I ordered egusi soup and fufu for the first time. It was delicious and surprisingly taste like home. Savory and spicy and Smokey all at the same time. I will definitely be ordering again 😀. My son also enjoyed it.

The person who serves is super rude and they treat the delivery people very badly. The food smells like mold. Bad service. I would not go back.

I did a door dash order here and when I walked in there was absolutely no customers in there at all. When I arrived they told me it'd be 10 more minutes so I said that was fine, 8 mins later another guy told me 9 more minutes and I told him I was already told 10 mins 8 mins ago, then approximately 8 mins after that I was told 5-6 more minutes and I finally gave up unassigned myself to the order and definitely let door dash know of their unacapability to have orders done on time or atleast within a timely manner.

We came here from Indiana for my birthday because I have been wanting to try the FuFu and egusi soup. My spouse got the fufu and peanut butter soup. BEST THING YOU WILL EVER PUT IN YOUR MOUTH! Amazing. The customer service is amazing too the lady helped us with how to eat it and everything so sweet! 100% recommend all the way around!
