The food was superb! I had the chicken masala with risotto and garlic mashed potatoes. This is my new top favorite meal ever. Unfortunately I live 6 hours away but will definitely be trying to come back here!!

This has been our 2nd time here, 1st time on my daughter's bday last year, we reserve upstairs, atmosphere was stupendous, service 10/10, food delicious 😋. But this year my rating would have to be 2/5. Why? Keep reading... We reserve upstairs/ outside, we where never notified that was not possible until arrival, they sat us down right next to the bar, server took ages to even offer us to take our drinks, my steak was cold I mean cold! I had to ask him to warm it up. Place was quiet empty,for a Wednesday not sure why he left our food sitting for so long.🤔 Not sure if he was a new server or what, but his service was very unprofessional we had to ask for everything. Eventhough pictures of our deserts look amazingly good. They were not, my cheesecake taste old, u know when u leave something seating in the fridge for a long time? Yeah that's wat it tasted like 🤮I just tried it, enough to 🤢boyfriend's flan was ok. This visit was nothing compared to our first and it was very upsetting because we were celebrating my daughter's graduation. Unfortunately this was our last time here. If am paying give me back quality and great service, please! My To Go, from now on would have to be 'Guacamole' which i visited last time. And it's my next review.. I KNOW THIS RESTAURANT REPLIED BUT THATS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR THE SERVICE N COLD FOOD WE GOT. APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED. MANAGER DIDN'T EVEN APPROACH TO APOLOGIZE FOR OUR LONG WAIT N COLD FOOD, WHILE THERE!

Beyond the Sun is a great spot if you are looking for a quality meal. The chicken marsala with risotto and roasted potatoes was excellent. Service was friendly and fast with no wait. We enjoyed the outdoor seating, plenty of parking in the back, and very few bugs. A bit pricey, but worth it.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Louisville our server Julian left us great service and we will come back for more! Got the lamb chops and 12oz wagu cooked to perfection. A espresso martini add Bally’s ( makes it sweet ) and the blue margarita frozen don’t think twice about coming here amazing food amazing service!!!!

Disappointed!!!!!! Definitely would not return. 1. Empty 2. Food bland 3. Played songs on repeat

2. Food was beyond subpar. The oysters weren’t clean (see pic). The calamari was so terrible. They only sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The birthday dish they advertised with a small slice of cake only was only ice cream with strawberry drizzle.

The decor was fantastic. That’s all you get.

Dayana was an excellent server, friendly very knowledgeable about drinks and the menu, was checking on us continuously and give us the best service ever i’d be back and ask for her as my server again

We celebrated my daughter’s graduation at Beyond the Sun, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Every course was served right on time, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. The food was delicious, and the presentation made the celebration feel even more special.

The cocktail program was truly out of this world—creative, perfectly balanced, and some of the best cocktails we’ve had in Louisville. It added such a sophisticated and memorable touch to the evening.

What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service from our waitress. She was attentive, professional, warm, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening. Her service transformed a wonderful dinner into a truly unforgettable experience.

Celebrating such an important milestone for our daughter at Beyond the Sun was the perfect choice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience with amazing food, world-class cocktails, and outstanding hospitality!

I might try this place again, but wouldn’t be my first choice. Food was decent, a few items are probably tasty, but overall our food was merely decent. I had the “Ocean Harmony”(creamy risotto with shrimp and scallops), and tried the “White cheddar Cavatappi Mac,” and my lady had just had a side of veggies with a side of grilled shrimp. The risotto was delicious- both the shrimp and scallops were well cooked. The veggies and grilled shrimp were tasty as well. The Mac n cheese is definitively a notch BELOW MID! I wouldn’t eat it again-and it was recommended to me as “the best Mac n Cheese in Louisville”..FAR from it. The atmosphere was nice tho- we went EARLY @ like 5:30p. Service was hospitable. DEFINITELY over priced btw.
