Only 2 tables of diners on a Thursday night made the place very quiet and dull. Food tasted of excess fillers (sawdust or flour in the crab cakes and artichoke fritters). Waitress had little knowledge of the wines but did offer a taste so that we could choose. Last call for drinks was at 8pm, when we had just received our main courses. Overall uninspiring.
My only complaint was the wontons were cold and the sauce didn't have much flavor tonight. I have always enjoyed these wontons but tonight they just weren't up to par. Service was great. Just a suggestion, this place could really use a facelift. It's looking worn out.
It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of excellent — our server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our meal. The food itself was delicious! i highly recommend [Restaurant Name] to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience with excellent service and great food. We will definitely be returning soon!
We celebrated a 50th birthday at the Bristol Bar and Grill in Louisville, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was great
Nice restaurant. Great waitress. Food was good but the pork chop was a little dry and the Maker's Mark glaze was hardly noticeable. The Derby special fried grouper was very good.
Needs a deep cleaning and update. Food was average as was the Bloody Mary that was ordered (and returned). Very tired and had an unusual smell. Very disappointed as we brought friends new to Louisville for lunch.
Great food and friendly staff

Food was terrible. Steak cooked over well done when requested medium rare. Steak was not fresh and had a foul smell. Private room smelled dirty and musty. Bathrooms were also dirty and smelled. Fruit flies also prevalent. Not good at all.

We dropped in last minute without a reservation. The Manager located two seats at the bar for a cocktail & a bite. The bar tender provided us 3 menus (set menu for the evening show, cocktail & food). We were in town for the bourbon trail and wanted to try this bar tenders specialty drinks. He made a classic Old Fashion and a drink he called Rye’d or Die. The Old Fashion was delicious. The Rye’d or Die ( a take on a classic Old Fashion) is absolutely out of this world. A must cocktail !
The set menu Spare Rib was plentiful, dry and very fatty. Mashed potatoes were delicious, miniature carrots tasteless.
The bar cleared out just prior to the 7 pm show next door with everyone exiting within 5 minutes. We thought that someone may have said “FIRE” the placed emptied so quickly. We were literally the only 2 patrons remaining in the entire restaurant.

The food was so delicious, I haven't stopped thinking about it, a day later! But, the real prize was Justin, our waiter! He was so efficient and knew we were in a hurry to get to our show, so he kept checking and made sure we go our food in time to eat. He was so kind and definitely one of the best waiters I've ever had! I would go back just for him!
