I came on my lunch break to grab a quick 3 piece meal. Not only were there only 2 pieces of fish, everything was cold from them leaving the window open at the drive thru while my food sat in the cross breeze. By the time I got back to the office, I didn’t have time to come back again. To top it off, no one would answer the phone when I attempted to call multiple times immediately upon realization.
*****EDIT- FINALLY got through over an hour later just to be told I didn’t call and can bring back the food and get a hot one with the correct order! Not only is this against health food code regulations, I will not be available to leave until after 6pm. To which at that time I have to rush straight to my daughter! Here’s an idea, close the window while drive thru waits, double check your orders (like they do at the counter), answer the phone, don’t call people liars, and don’t break health board regulations because YOU messed up.********
I know this seems dumb but I NEVER get to eat out anymore with this economy. My daughter doesn’t like Captain Ds, King Fish, Long John Silvers or anything of that nature. I thought since I was caught up on bills and was alone, I could get something for myself. NOPE.

Today after work I went to Captain D and received not what I paid for but also undercooked raw food. How this place knowingly decide to serve this to any paying customer or customers is beyond me. This is as about disgraceful as one restaurant who deal in food can get and clearly it's against a public health violation. I did not eat this because I did not want to become sick. And yes, I have photos. It will gross you out. And for the record, owner of this establishment, I've already shared my feedback at captain.contact.com, Captain D's Twitter account, Yelp, and many more online complaints forums.
I used to like the food here, but everything has gone down in quality. The fish tasted fine but were smaller, and the baked potato was small and undercooked. The breading on the chicken is just bad now. Flakes off easily and is mushy underneath.

We ordered take out but it was not good! The crumbs we ordered extra were way dark, burned actually, the fries were half cooked and they gave us 2 little cups of tarter for a family meal?! When we Andes for extra? The fries were not only half cooked but they were cold and barely warm. The fish was fresh but not good without tartar sauce! The hush puppies were cold and so was the shrimp! I’m not sure what they have going on there but it’s been three times in a row we’re got bad food! At almost $50 for the family meal you’d think it would be more than edible but it was barely edible and cold! We won’t be back! Third times a charm as they say!

I'm so sick of this place over cooked food and most of all I ordered family sampler 10 fish 6 chicken shrimp and sides I get packages of vinegar and I made sure I told them give me enough for 10 fish. I paid $42 you would think they could afford to give me at least 1package per fish but no they can't and this isn't the first. Oh and then tie the bag in Knotts so I can't look in it unless I tear the bag well guess what I'll go somewhere else you guys suck hope you go out of buisness raise ur prices and give us less. Less food less service less everything but more money THE AMERICAN WAY good luck Go somewhere else somewhere that cares and wants you to be happy not this hole in the wall teen hangout
