A Must-Visit Every Time I’m in Louisville!

Catalina Chicken is hands-down one of the best dining spots in Louisville. I had the half chicken (dark meat) with green beans and a side salad, followed by a bowl of their chicken noodle soup—and every bite was packed with flavor.

The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the green beans were fresh and well-prepared, and the salad was crisp and refreshing. But the real standout? That homemade chicken noodle soup—comforting, hearty, and absolutely delicious.

Portions are generous, service is fast and friendly, and the overall experience is consistent every visit. This place is a gem, and it’s become a regular stop for me whenever I’m in town.

If you’re in Louisville, do yourself a favor and eat here. You won’t regret it.

Ordered 1/2 chicken with Cilantro lime rice and corn. It wasn't at a prime meal time and it was delivered by GrubHub. The food was pretty good. The chicken was on the dry side but that could have been because it was delivered. It is plenty of food for 2 meals for me so the value is good.

The food is really good but after discovering this place and going here maybe 5 times, every time I'm in Louisville, I don't think I'll be returning. I travel to Louisville from a nearby city to work on my project vehicle and when I'm done I clean up but still look like I just came from working on a car so I place door dash carryout orders. It's in a nicer area and has a decent ambiance, I know I'm not dressed like most other patrons but that's why I place the togo orders so I can get in and out quickly. However, I can't help but feel like the guy at the register the last few times treated me differently than other patrons, and not in a good way. I can sense where I'm not wanted. The first few times there was a very nice lady, no issues. The last couple of times it was this angry guy who had an attitude, and acted like he wanted to shove my food in my hand and tell me to get out. At least the vibes I got. I was in town last weekend and decided to check out some other places in the area for food. Louisville is a nice city, with lots of options imo

Not even close to the real Pollo la Brasa, and it’s considered a Peruvian restaurant (I asked the person that took our order at the counter).
Chicken had no taste, fried rice or chaufa not even close to what a chaufa or peruvian fried rice actually is, the fried banana was soggy with no sweetness, and the fries had a burned color and were dry.
Expensive place and hopefully they improve on their recipes because I do not see how this place can be a 4 plus star restaurant.

Horrible horrible horrible experience. Do not recommend. The manager didn’t want to help the situation, manager told us to leave a bad review instead.

The food is so good. Always hot, Always Fresh. I get it delivered to my job, and it is always worth it!!

For the chicken alone, I would give two stars, but the broccoli and green beans while simply prepared were pretty fresh and good. I saw a sign about something like “it’s the charcoal!” Ironic because there is no sign of anything charcoaly about this chicken. It was kind of the opposite of what we look for in this style of preparation —underdone, stringy, watery, not flavorful at all. To be fair, I ordered carryout not far from closing on a Sunday night, so maybe this was not a representative experience. But it was a bad enough experience that I decided to take the time to mention it

Pleasantly surprised! It's hard to find a place that serves a great keto lunch, and here it is! Ordered for delivery the half chicken with green beans and salad...delicious. a lot of food...good value. And I'm addicted to the green sauce! TIP: spend the extra 99cents for the avocado on the salad...adds nice texture.

The food is excellent - I could eat the chaufa rice all day. I didn't think rotisserie would be exciting but it was delicious. All the sauces taste great. On Wednesdays, a lot of people grab take out here and go to the Hi-Wire bar next door, which I think will be a new tradition for us.

Ordered delivery through UberEats. Had chicken, chaufa rice, green beans, yuca fries, and tostones. Everything was absolutely fantastic! It’s crazy that the food was still really good even though it was delivered.

Literally no complaints! 10/10 recommend.

Excellent place, with two characteristics that are not usually together, speed and excellent dishes. The salad is the best for me, perfect and the best dish. But they have a variety of options for different tastes, my family and I chose several dishes, the delicious chaufa rice, the spectacular tostones with chicken and cheese. The wonderful sweet potatoes. The atmosphere is warm and the service is very good, the girl who treated us spectacularly, with cordiality and patience. Once we requested the order, in less than 10 minutes they began to bring us the order and without errors, even though we made some changes due to food restrictions. The house special sauces are very well done. Special mention to the ice drinks at the entrance, they invite you to have something refreshing. Excellent dining experience with affordable prices in Louisville.
