This place is so awesome! Everything I’ve ever had has been delicious. I heard they’re closed now, but Google says only temporarily, so I hope that’s true! Does anyone know???

I order fajitas it was tough to eat and they are very expensive on top of that they are rude. With the pandemic they should at least wear a mask even if I was the only one there and they did not. The guy that served us should’ve washed his hands after dealing with his phone to serve us. It was a mess I’m not going back and I do not recommend this place. And I’m pretty sure the food poisoning that I had came from there.

We drove to Chilakiles after seeing pics of this place on the TasteLouisville Instagram, and they knocked it out of the park! The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and open, the service was extraordinary, servers were friendly and accommodating, and the food was FAB. We ordered a grilled pork dish, the enchiladas suizas with chicken, and the grilled shrimp guacamole as a starter. The shrimp were big! Also deliciously seasoned and tender. Shrimp and guacamole on house made chips was out of this world. So good!! ($10.99 and worth it.) The pork dish and the enchiladas were both beautifully presented, and we devoured both. Sauces were plentiful, the entrees had layers of flavors, and the portion sizes were more than adequate. We will be frequenting here! Bravo! Total bill was $38 pre-tip.

We had had a brunch at Chilakiles before the Covid-19 out break. It was terrific. Tonight we ordered carry out. We have found our favorite Mexican Restaurant. The food was great. The next time the Mexican urge hit, we know our destination.

Been here a couple times for breakfast and it's been fabulous. Recently tried it for dinner and they spoiled us with service. I ordered the burrito and it was good but the fajitas were also at our table and I wish I would have gotten those LOL

Every time I visit Chilakiles I'm always super hype for the delicious meal I'm about to have, and I'm never wrong! We called in an order today for pickup because we wanted to make sure they got the money (instead of doordash/etc) and they had the food ready so quickly! And it was still amazing when we got it home, not soggy or anything! I always get the Cuban sandwich, but my roommate has had some of their breakfast and has been equally satisfied. Will definitely be back!!

Found out about this little treasure through my friends & decided to check it out with my bride for my birthday. Amazing food, beautifully plated, and very generous portions. I’ve recommended it to friends and family and will be returning very soon!

I had the best chilaquiles in a while, everything was good looking, very clean and very tasty, I missed the tacos, but they told me that the tacos start at 5pm(I will come back to give it a try... very soon). I was expecting a fresh squeezed orange juice, but it was from a bottle :( I guess I had to ask for it. Anyway overall, the attention and service was amazing, what a kind people, the waiters were very nice, help yourself and come here to taste a very good breakfast/lunch

I loved this place! The food was delicious, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. I ordered the fajitas which were very tender and tasty, my husband loved the Steak Oaxaqueño, and my picky daughter ate her food. I recommend this place if you are hungry for authentic Mexican cuisine around the Louisville area.

Love loved this place. I got the weekly fish special. Salmon with an avocado sauce, Sautéed veggies and rice. Delicious. Friend got the pollo. Friendly server. Marg was good too

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Horchatas, chilaquiles, and huevos rancheros 10/10. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Worth driving out of your way for!

This amazing company wanted to donate 200 meals to frontline workers. The owner said that if this is the last thing his business does, he wanted to do this. This company is a small business which I'm sure may be struggling during Covid19. Even though that is the case, they still wanted to donate. How amazing!! They even came masked up and on their day off. The food was delicious. Everything was homemade even the bread. They had chicken and pork Tortas. The sandwiches were individually wrapped because they knew that frontline workers are always on the go and don't have time to sit there and prepare their plates. They paid attention and got the job done. Please support this business. They are doing so much and giving back to the community.

Went here the day after Christmas and was really impressed with the food, however the service left some to be desired. We arrived at 7 PM and were told it would be a 10 minute wait. After about 25 minutes we were seated at a table that had been open the entire time we waited. It took an additional 10 minutes before someone greeted us and brought us drinks. It took about 45 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our food. A couple items we wanted they were out of, including oysters, beer can chicken and a couple other appetizers, which was somewhat disappointing.
