I had the pleasure of dining at the Derby city Pizza just south of the Snider on Dixie Highway. Pizza and salad were wonderful. Service was also wonderful. We did run into an issue where several Hispanic people got out of control. The staff took care of it well. Compliments to them for de-escalating a situation. They rock. I've been here many times and I've never seen this before.
The pizza crust reminded me of a Lunchables pizza. I hate to be so harsh with it given how cool the place was and the service was good. The toppings were good, and the sauce seemed a little light on authentic flavor. I asked for extra cheese and sauce, but the cheese still seemed light. For a restaurant the food is everything so because of my experience I give 2 stars. I got the XL build your own pizza.
We have been here several times with my son’s baseball / basketball teams after games. We love the family friendly atmosphere & sitting outside on a beautiful day tops it off. The kids always end up playing in the grassy field beside the deck & have the best time. Food is good, service is good & they handle large parties really well.
