UPDATE Last evening the manager got in contact and apologized for all the inconvenience and was able to give me a solution . I will go back and try something else because it was recommended this place to me and everyone can have a bad day.
I visited this morning to try the oxtails and ordered an extra side of plantains. Unfortunately, the plantains were missing from my order, and I didn’t realize it until I got home. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the employee took my phone number and said the manager would call me back. That was before noon, and I still haven’t received a call. I was disappointed by the lack of follow-up, especially since this could have been resolved with a simple phone call.
Unfortunately, I also had to throw the oxtails away. They were extremely oily, lacked flavor, and were not enjoyable to eat. I was really looking forward to trying them based on the reviews, so this was very disappointing.
Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations. Between the missing item, the poor quality of the main dish, and the lack of customer service after I reported the issue, it was not a good first impression.
On a positive note, the hibiscus juice and the beef patty were both excellent. They were fresh, flavorful, and the best part of my meal. I hope the restaurant improves its food quality and customer service.

If you’re looking for great food served by great people this is your place to be. The best Ox tail I’ve ever eaten. Only on Friday after 1 and Saturday. Any other day of the week the menus are wide open and the home made drinks are plentiful. Stop by give this place a chance and enjoy some delicious food.

Went for Lunch on Juneteenth. Had a great meal and a great overall experience. Had the oxtail which was very tasty but I would have liked it better if it had a bit more meat on the bone. The sides were excellent and the hibiscus drink was outstanding
