The food was delicious and honestly the only reason I'd consider going back. Service was terrible—my waiter couldn't be bothered to do his job. I had to find him twice, and the rest of the time he was camped out at the bar on his phone like he was off the clock. Super disappointing experience.
I order almost the same thing every time I go. I usually do carry out and its consistent. The food is always hot and plentiful. There's never really a long wait, I just wish the staff was a little more lively and interact with the customers more. I always live yhe vibe because of rhe music and great food. Everyone seems so stoic sometimes. I would love to see these beautiful faces smile more, so whatever management needs to do to make that happen, let it be so🤗
Always a great experience at El Nopal on New Cut! The staff is friendly, and the manager went above and beyond to make me fresh, chunky, authentic guac—just the way I like it. That kind of extra effort is rare these days and seriously appreciated. The food is always hot, fast, and full of flavor. Definitely one of my go-to Mexican spots in Louisville!
