So the food and service by the young man was outstanding. But, when you come in no one there to greet you except for the pretty lady at black olive. When the lady walked out she had an attitude, weird. During our was service was wonderful, but when we were leaving. Completely ignored. No one is smiling, it felt uncomfortable.

We enjoyed a pitcher of margaritas and two of the combinations combos. The service was fast and we had a good time. Just in town for one day.

Take out order had no burito shells with my fajitas and no queso on the side of burito as ordered.

Was visiting from out of state stop for dinner not knowing what to expect from a Italian and Mexican restaurant combo turned out to be the best life choice ever we had the tour of Italy and a sausage pizza and they were absolutely the best way better then my Grams cooking this is a must try place

If I could give negative stars I would.I had a group of 7 go out for cinco de mayo, I understand it’s a busy day for them. We sat down at 6:39pm didn’t get a server to come to our table and get drink orders until 7pm while multiple other tables were sat and orders were taken. When our server came to get the drinks and we told her there would be separate checks she huffed and rolled her eyes at us. We told her we were ready to order as well the second she grabbed our drink order she ran off without saying anything. We didn’t see her again for 20 minutes and she brought our queso COLD. We didn’t see her again until 7:33pm. She kept walking past our table and neglecting to check on us. Thank God for Rosealine for stepping in and taking our order after trying MULTIPLE times for our original server. We asked her to speak with the manager and he never came passed by multiple times as well. Our food didn’t come out until 8:10pm with multiple items that were wrong (not Rosealine’s fault). When we placed our food order one person from our party also placed a to-go order. Our original waiter came back and tried to check us out asking what’s everyone got WHEN SHE DIDNT TAKE OUR ORDER AND NEGLECTED TO WAIT ON US AFTER GIVING US OUR DRINKS. We again asked to speak to the manager, then he finally came to our table. We only got a chance to tell him that one person’s order was completely wrong, one person’s frozen margarita came out half melted in a hot cup, and queso came out cold. The manager immediately cut her off grabbed the food off the table and walked away. We still never had our to-go food at this point it was already 8:30pm. We never got any refills on our drinks and finally got our to go food at 8:40pm after asking multiple different servers because our original server who took back over was no where to be found. I will never be back here again.

Where do I start.... I go to El nopal all the time, usually the one in J town, not this one. The queso dip came out cold in the middle and was hard. Asked the female server to heat it up more please and she gave us a look. My sister and I asked for a Strawberry daquri, one being virgin and one not. She didn't ask for ID and walked away. They brought out two virgin drinks. The server came by a few times. To get us water, to give us the queso 2 times and the check. I kept looking for her to see if I could get 2 shots to add to my drink so she wouldn't have to re-make it and I couldn't find her for 30 mitnues until she dropped the check off. I get the busy season, its derby but man. J town elnopal is the best in ky, go there instead!

Excellent service and absolutely stunning, vibrant colors everywhere. By far my favorite El Nopal location to date.

The furniture was popping and was such a pleasure to be surrounded by. I wish Id taken a few more pictures.

And the food was consistent to other locations.

Overall I highly recommend visiting this location.

Visit here every year. Never disappointed. Always busy, so if you have a large party i suggest a reservation to ensure they can accommodate you. Friendly staff, great food.

Wow! What a great meal! I got a combo to sample several items and everything was great. The margarita was, in fact, one of the best I've ever had.
