“Casual elegant bistro with fabulous food and a wonderful coffee bar. We started with a cafe roma and a latte, both of which were rich and delicious. This was our first time here (it won’t be our last) and we ordered a charcuterie board and empanadas as appetizers. All were very good, but the beef empanadas were stars. We also shared an excellent chicken and rice soup that I believe added poured carrot to the broth, which added a nice extra flavor. For an entree, we split their English Fish and Chips, which used a delicious and crispy beer batter. We’ve found it hard to find this style of fried fish in Louisville, so this was an exciting find! It did not disappoint.“
“Celebrated as a family our daughters birthday. We each had different dishes Halibut, Qual. Scallops and Chicken all were excellent. Also received the shrimp appetizer and the homemade potato chips with our before dinner drinks ( old fashions They treatedmy daughter with a gluten free dessert. Next time will take photos.Vegetarian options: Server told us they could prepare a vegetarian meal on requestDietary restrictions: Server told us they can prepare for any dietary restrictions“
“We made a last minute dinner reservation last night and had a great experience. Service was casual and kind. I love fine dining when it’s not too stuffy and the staff get to be themselves. The cocktail list was difficult to read because everything looked either good or interesting. I went with the Smith & Wesson and it was definitely on the interesting side. I probably wouldn’t order it again but I’m glad I tried it and there are a handful of other cocktails I’m interested in trying another time.We got escargot as an appetizer and it was decadent. The French onion soup is also hands down the best in town.Anywhere I go I have to try their beet salad and this one had some wonderful earthy flavors. The steak was cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce and it paired well with their Bordeaux pour by the glass. With the two of us dining the bill came out to $205 which is pretty reasonable. I will be back to try the maple old fashioned and the PEI mussels.“
