I love independent coffee shops like this. Always so quirky and interesting in layout and atmosphere. Was crowded without FEELING crowded. I had a tea and a coffee. Both delicious. Was here for a business chat. Will definitely come back when I’m in Louisville again this summer.

Excellent place for some really good coffee. The service was wonderful. Very polite and helpful. The inside is very cozy with plenty of space and seating. We got our drinks served in a nice mug on a platter with a butter cookie. The parking was easy and plentiful. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that has not been here. We will definitely return for some more coffee. One of the few coffee houses that I’ve been to that serves liquor.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options and very polite to children.

Great place to have coffee and get a little work done by yourself or with others. The best coffee!! The staff is always so helpful with suggestions and it’s nice to not drink out of paper every now and then.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Louisville, hands down. Their coffee and pastries are outstanding, but my high ranking has mostly to do with the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It really feels like you're in someone's home - jazz music, cozy sofas, and a beautiful view of Cherokee park. The service is great and you really get the sense that they want you to feel at home there. I love coming here to do my schoolwork!

Down the street from Cherokee park. Seasonal selections, hot and cold coffee and lattes, of course. Lunch type menu and pastries. Wine if you prefer.

I have loved this coffee shop for years. I also never write negative reviews, but after today I felt I should give a warning. I spent 30 dollars for a sandwich, tea, and water (and tipping 25% because I love supporting small businesses). This price would not bother me at all, if it were up to a basic standards.
Upon recieving my tea, it was lukewarm. They then forgot my sandwich for thirty minutes. When I brought it up the lady went into the back, I heard glass break, then 5 minutes later I was brought a bagel sandwich that was covered so heavily in some form of grease that I could see my own reflection. It was not only on the top, but permeating all levels of the sandwich. They also had expired pastries for sale. It was once I took a sip of my cold tea, and found something in my tea, that I decided it was time to go.
