We absolutely loved our visit to Ash & Elm before a Fort Wayne Fever game. We came into town from Fort Wayne. I had googled gluten and dairy free friendly restaurants and discovered Ash & Elm. The place far exceeded our expectations. The environment is very cool- old warehouse vibes with cute decor. We especially appreciated the pride flags and messages of kindness throughout. Our server was awesome. All 4 of us ordered cider flights and told her to choose for us- she did a great job. We loved every selection. The Devour Indy menu was also available and 2 in our party took advantage of it. It was a great value.

We went there for a birthday and had the best time. Wonderful service and food! Fantastic Cider!!

The cider is always great, but I feel the food has dropped a notch. For instance, the chicken was kinda meh. It's not as flavorful as it once was. The entree sizes are ample, the service good, and ambiance nice.

We came tonight and looked forward to having a date night. I want to preface this saying I adore kids, but we anticipated sitting at the bar for a kid free night. It was brought to my attention that the CEO was present for a party and the kids that we sitting at the bar top were his. It was disappointing that the wait staff had to apologize to us for how the children were sitting at the bar top. It made us feel uncomfortable and annoyed and ate our food and left even though we wanted to stay for another round and dessert. Our wait staff was great, but if the CEO reads this: I love kids and I know you love yours, but as a guest sitting at the “bar top”, it was really disappointing to be sitting next to two kids without a parent sitting with them and they weren't necessarily sitting and being quiet watching cartoons. Your wait staff had to practically baby sit them.. it is also still illegal for children to sit at a bar top where alcohol is sold per Indiana State Code.

We sat at our table for twenty minutes. No one acknowledged that we were there except for the host who was rude and stand off ish. We walked out and left

I called ahead and asked if I could add one more person to my reservation and they were incredibly rude. They told me that the event was so popular, there wouldn't be any open seats. When I arrived, I was placed at a table with four seats, so there were two open seats that my friend could have sat at. I was incredibly frustrated and disappointed by the service.

Had another great time at Ash & Elm. They hosted Drag Bingo with Chantal Devereaux which was great fun. And our server, Morgan, was THE BEST!!!

The ciders are always phenomenal and being celiac safe is great. Wish they would bring back the tofu options due to being vegan and the options are only salad and chili. The bowl they had before was fantastic

Morgan I am amazing member of the staff - great attention to detail, and focus on superior service.

I was really disappointed- we came to celebrate a birthday and and allotted ourselves 2 hours, it wasn't busy at all but everything was so slow. We were encouraged to order off of devour and then 2/3 entrees weren't available, not was most of the proteins options for the entire menu, which we didn't know until after we ordered apps, which came out wrong. All of our bills were mixed up with different items, though we reviewed what the checks would be multiple times and then everything took so long we asked for our desserts to go and then after 30 min ended up leaving without them. Really disappointing.

We went for devour. We got the elite corn fritters for our app. They were not good. They used way too much tajin flavoring and it overpowered them. For our mains we got the bbq Mac and cheese which was very good and the torta. The torta beef was so tough. The fries were good. For dessert we got the donuts and they were delicious. Overall, the food was disappointing to us. It's a nice place to have a cider though.

We've enjoyed their ciders for years, but first time to visit their location. Not a good experience. They were participating in Devour and were not well prepared, kept running out of food, and our server was on her first day. Thankfully our friends were good conversation because it took 2hrs to get through our meal. All of the food was “okay” but none of it was great. Everything had something weird about it. Server forgot our dessert and kitchen closed so they gave us “consolation cookies” which were not good. I may give them another chance on a normal day and normal menu...but leaning towards not going back.

Live music played on top of radio and tv + lots of people = way too loud. Service a little lacking, could be due to amount of people though. Food overpriced and portions small. Taste was mediocre at best. Bathroom was unavailable the whole time I was there.
