I have been here several times. But this occasion was different. I can say the service was perfect but the food was not what I expected.

Loved my steak with chimicurri green sauce..not a fan of plantains ( would prefer as a dessert with brown sugar- but do understand how served in this restuarant) the vegetables were da bomb! Omg I can just order the sautéed vegs with mushrooms and be in heaven. I had the spicy margarita and it was wonderful. We were celebrating mothers day late and I guess the server thought it was a birthday so she brought out dessert on the house...SO GRATEFUL! Enjoyed dinner with my son just Mr and him

The best part of the place is the atmosphere. It's loud, friendly and energetic! The food is amazing and consistent but if you're looking for a spot to hang out with your friends and have a good time, this is the place.
Just a few con:
Only one washroom, so if someone is in the washroom, you have to wait
And the floor is extremely slippery. Be careful. If you're not paying attention you will wipe out
Besides that, great environment, great atmosphere, live music, great food, comes highly recommended

Unfortunately we got very bad experience in this place !!! Why ? We were looking for dinner and as cuban not better option around Middletown ….. there were 3 ladies all of them from cuban … they start looking weird and twisting their look when i asked about a table for 4 … We noted the difference immediately when i asked in spanish… not sure what cause the problem? Its seems they looking only native customers!!! Jjj Anyway we never come back again !!!

The decor is amazing. The food was great! It came with free bread and butter. We ordered the chicken empanadas for starters. We also tried the rumba queso dip with plantain chips. The topical strawberry margarita was strong but good. I ordered a shrimp meal and my husband got a steak. We enjoyed all of the flavors from each meal. We went on a Friday night. The parking lot was full but they got us seated right away. The employees were very friendly.

My favorite restaurant here in Louisville. Food is fabulous and staff is kind. Entertainment is always fun too! Wish they had daily meal specials and opened for lunch during the week

Worst experience I have ever had with restaurant staff. I went there last night with my family and friends. Had to take my daughter to the restroom, someone threw up over the entire bathroom floor, the. I immediately picked up my daughter to carry her out and didn’t see there was more vomit on the wall and got vomit on the entire back of my shirt and pants. I told the staff they did nothing to help me and even laughed it off as to what happened. I had throw away my shirt in the trash can, they didn’t even comp my meal. I have gone to Havana Rubma for years, this was beyond disappointing treatment by the staff. I will not be taking my family back.

I’ve eaten her several times, always great food and service! Yesterday I tried their Cuban colada, and it was amazing! I would’ve preferred it to be a little bit stronger, but the overall flavor was fantastic! It can get very loud whether you’re seated inside or outside, especially when they play the bongos for someone’s birthday/special occasion. Every time that I’ve been, there has been live music outside. I haven’t been here with a child, but I would say if you’re OK with the volume of the restaurant, it’s a good place for families. I did notice that they have high chairs for babies.
