Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. Matt provided great service by giving us a good deal with 2 for 1 price of pecan pies, one regular and another with chocolate chips! Visiting from California, we were yearning for Southern style pecan pies, and finally found the right place thanks to help from our local friends in Shelbyville, Kentucky! We have been relishing these pies for a few days - yummy! Next, us foodies have to try the peach cobbler in Georgia! Thank God for the South!
