Not sure what’s happened over time but this was my only bad experience! My food was freezing cold like they took it from a fridge and put it on a plate. The fact that I paid 50+ for a meal and it was ice cold is insane.

I got the filet mignon with baked potato. The potato was cold and the fillet had a terrible taste and was very blackened. I really want to return the whole meal and get my money back. Will not return.

Let me start off by saying I have had good 5 star experiences in years past with my family today 4/21/24 I got the pork tenderloin it was not hot it was half brown half pink and my Mac and cheese was runny at the bottom and not crunchy on top my wife got a steak ordered medium and it came out rare we waited 5-10 minutes for our server to come back and ask how our food was finally had to wave down a server from a different table to get him even though we seen him going to all his other tables he finally got the steak and had it redone but someone else brought it back to us and it all came out super fast assuming it was all thrown in the microwave except the steak and the only refill we got is when we got the check they charged us for the steak which is fine but definitely expected better food and experience for my $70 meal maybe this was all because we're young and not dressed well due to traveling home from Tennessee

We have eaten here at least 5 times in the last 8 months, The food is great, service very good, This is a restaurant chain that has been around a long time that is still very good. Usually when we go, we take 6 or 7 people. Nobody has complained about anything ever and always enjoyed themselves.

You changed suppliers! Omg. Was our favorite place since 2017 but last night it wasn't even close to same food & we are so upset to lose our favorite place. Huge mistake changing food suppliers. No way it will fly for regulars & new people won't come back either. So sad.We did confirm with management you did in fact change suppliers but we knew minute we started Meal. Neither could eat it.

I'm not having great luck around the mall area when it comes to finding great food. Our medium size group dined here tonight and while the food was edible, it was not delicious.We ordered deviled eggs and they were just ok. The smoked salmon dip was slightly better.I tried the salmon with orzo ($33) and was disappointed. Over cooked, dry, charred *backside much worse then front pictured side, and served with tarter sauce. Very salty as well. And the pasta is served cold.I would not recommend the salmon here. The flavor was good in areas not overly salted, but was too dry and over cooked.

I love this restaurant… there’s not a bad thing on the menu!!! My favorites, Pork Tenderloin w/bang bang sauce, and Rattlesnake Pasta are choices I don’t at their other location in Northbrook IL.If you ever see their Double Pork chop is great and disappears quickly!!The wood tones of the restaurant make the ambiance cosy and comforting! The Deviled Eggs are really good!!!

Overall a very good experience. The salad wash fresh and the cilantro dressing was very good. Steak was cooked perfectly. Server was friendly and knowledgeable.

It’s okay, no where near the j Alexander’s quality and performance. I’ve eaten multiple j Alexander’s restaurants, this is an edited review, food was cold, my prime rib had a funny taste, 200$, for really bad food. Eat at cheese cake factory we are from Lexington, we have one too and it’s a night and day difference. I really wish this place was better, my last review was three stars, we tried again today so maybe it could redeem itself..

Deviled eggs were good. Ordered the steak and frites, rare. Came out medium well. Returned, second steak came back medium. I gave up and just ate it. I wouldn’t suggest this place for steak. When I returned the first steak, the server pointed out that there was a little pink in it. That suggests a lower level of professionalism and quality than they portray on their website. They make a lot of statements about quality and refinement that did not hold up. The $48.76 would’ve been better spent at another option in the Oxmoor area.

We visited your louisville location for lunch on Valentines Day. We reserved a table and we were sat immediately. As soon as our waitress came to the table we knew it would be down hill from there. She precided to argue w my husband about a coke product. Stating she has been there 3 1/2 years and it has never been available there. Her service set the tone. We have been coming there for 20 years on this particular day and I normally ask if it's possible to get chicken parm or rattlesnake pasta. They usually check but not her she said if you want that you have to be here on sun or mon.. Totally ruined our experience... when we got our app it was like something I had not encountered before the salsa was old not fresh and the chips were stale. My husband's steak and lobster was under cooked and cold at that. Don't think we will be back and will sadly have to find somewhere else to spend this special day
