We have been to the restaurant several times. I have never tried their steaks so I decided I would this time. I ordered the Maui ribeye. The flavor was good but it was very tough. I ordered it medium and it was cooked properly but there was a lot of gristle which made it hard to eat. For the high price it was very disappointing. My husband ordered the hamburger which was excellent. We also ordered a side of broccoli cooked perfectly. The carrot cake was great as always.
From my first visit over a decade ago to my recent one, today, I have never been disappointed with the entirety of the experience. Staff is polite and usually kind, the atmosphere is quite and comfortable giving a more intimate meal allowing for full focus on whomever you are dining with or whatever you may be discussing. The AC is apparently broken, with one box fan running near the bathrooms. It’s a sweat box in the restaurant. A warning before seating you would be nice so clients can decide if they want to feel comfortable through their meal.
