Flavor on the burger was excellent. They tout frying with a blend of sunflower oil and tallow - I wonder how often they change it because the fries had an acrid aftertaste. I still ate them all.

Jay went above and beyond to serve our group on our way to the Louisville Airport. And man, this was a fantastic burger. The quality of the ingredients is obvious from the first bite. There is a passion behind this food. Oh, and the fries are cooked in BEEF TALLOW!! If you are a local - please support this trailer often. It’s a Louisville treasure!

We like to catch jays burgers on Wednesdays at shop bar. They have an excellent smash burger and fries fried in beef tallow. High quality meat makes for a great burger. Friendly, fast service.

The food is friggin fantastic and you absolutely get what you pay for. Someone said it was expensive and that makes me laugh, they are priced perfectly for what you receive, smiling faces to greet you, exceptional food and the fact that it's fresh and hot are major bonuses.Don't sleep on this food truck, they aim to please!

Pretty good burger and fries. Service was fast as well. Had the burger , fry and a root beer. Food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Its a food truck so menu isn’t huge. I paid 15-17 bucks which was a tad high in my opinion for what I received but the food was good.

Went to Jay's with a friend last week. We both really enjoyed the burgers and fries. Jay's has a very basic menu--but what they do, they do really well. If you like smashburgers, give Jay's a chance!

The savory beef patty and cheese are well-balanced in the hamburger, which is full of gravy. I have 100% intention to revisit!! I hope they open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This was my first visit to the Jay's Burgers food truck and it didn't disappoint! The service is friendly and food is out quickly and hot. They had a few picnic tables to sit at while listening to some music in the background. The burger - high quality beef that you could taste. I do wish the burger had a little more of the crisp edges that some smash burgers have, but it was still a great burger. Next time I'll probably order an extra slice of cheese as well.The fries - this may sound weird... but they taste like a higher quality version of McDonald's fries. They were fantastic. The house made ketchup had an interesting sweetness to it as well. They don't have an expansive menu, but they don't need to. They do burgers and fries and they do them well!

This was an awesome experience! I was impressed with the flavor of the burger. The sauce was a true compliment to the toasted bun and fresh ground beef. The fries were hot and fresh. The staff was friendly. The combo was a little pricey but it was worth it. I even enjoyed sitting at the tables outside the truck. I hope to return soon. They are only open Mondays,Wednedays and Fridays.
