Skimpy on the food. Very little veggies, rice... Normally you get the rice and veggies first but this time for veggies last an it was little to none of them. Very disappointed in the service and

My first experience with Kyushu and I'll be coming back for the hibachi grill experience. Reservations can be made for parties of six or more, and the table holds 10-12 ppl. We were seated with others and it didn't deter my party of five from enjoying time with each other. Warning! The grill creates a warm experience. I'd recommend dressing lighter, even in colder weather. I was thankful for my t-shirt and my cheeks still flushed. I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken which came with a plate of rice, veggies, soup and salad. Next time I'm skipping the soup and asking for double salad, a tip I learned from a friend. Lots of sauces are available as well. My friends chose salmon and steak, and everyone said their meal was great. Wine, beer, cocktails and other food items are available. If you aren't doing hibachi they have other seating for menu options. Service was friendly and the show of food being cooked was fun. Lots of standard jokes, bursts of fire and catching rice in your mouth. The decor is simple and humble. This experience is mainly around the food.

Know what you want the only thing is when the waitress takes your order she doesn't come back to see if you want to order anything else. May have been they were busy but didn't get to order any adult beverages. Know next time give her everything say once.

Okay, listen. I *wish* that I could tell you more about this experience but they had this drink special called a "Mistletoe Margarita" and I had like four of them, maybe five...so... That all started because they made us wait until our entire party of ten people was in the building before they would seat us. So, because I had to sit in the very cold vestibule, I had to imbibe to warm myself. Tequila makes me wanna fight so the bartender and I agreed that substituting vodka was the smartest play for all concerned. A solid decision. The drink was delicious and nobody got hurt. The company was fantastic and the food was good. There was a lot of activity going on and it was difficult to keep up with the conversation in that seating format. I'm pretty sure that I was supposed to be paying attention to the chef, anyway. Either way, it was fun and I enjoyed the experience.
