Or favorite tour this trip. Alex was a great guide, historian and fountain of information. Peerless will be a stop on each future visit.
This was our favorite experience on the trip. In fact, we will come for a tasting next time we're back because it is that good. The tour was great- lots of history and information. Thank you Alex for a great visit.
Coming here was a last-minute decision, but it turned out to be the best one while in Louisville. This distillery is simply awesome. Lots of amazing whiskeys to taste and buy.
They have two types of tour experiences, and we opted for the one that let us try two whiskeys each from a selection of about a dozen options vs. the guided tasting of four set pours. I forget our guide's name since this was a few weeks ago, but it was an excellent experience. It was just the three of us and our guide in small room where he explained every whiskey in the lineup. All six pours in total were amazing and we walked away with four unique bottles only available directly at the distillery.
If I find myself back in Louisville, I'd absolutely love to return.
Very nice tour with Chase as our tour guide. nice selection of samples at the tasting.
Delicious, the history of this distillery is amazing. Highly recommend the tasting experience; learn about the history, and drink some incredible bourbon and ryes. Probably one of the best Ryes I've tried. Definitely recommend trying Peerless Distilling Co, one of the newer less known distilleries but not one you should cast aside.
It’s was a nice little tasting. Linda fun you get to pick what you want to taste. Only getting two was a bit sad since they have such a lineup. To be fair it was reasonably cheap for us being a military family so it might be you get what you pay for. Not too much else going on in the tasting. Felt maybe a bit rushed? But really enjoyed the bourbon.
Definitely a must for those of us who are proof hounds.
This was by far my favorite distillery to tour while staying in Louisville! My friend and I both found that touring the smaller distilleries were more focused on the craft and really focused on flavor and the overall experience. We got some cool souvenirs, and tried a wide range of their bourbons and Ryes. They have a proud history and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave some great advice for food and bars to check out. I would 100% go back and take some friends!
My husband and I recently traveled from Colorado to Kentucky with our good friends. We all agree that this was the best overall tasting experience. Our tour guide, Alex, was so knowledgeable and personable. We appreciated the history of the distillery, the family atmosphere, and we even had the pleasure of meeting Corky. I'm not typically a bourbon drinker but they provided some of the best bourbon I tried all week. Highly recommend adding this distillery to your list - you won't be disappointed.
This is such a great distillery with a great story and absolutely amazing bourbon and whiskey! Our tour guide, Kaci, was amazing. Peerless is one of our all time favorites!
Had a great tasting that was laid back and very informative. Our guide took us through the history of Peerless and how some of the current whiskeys came about. We got to taste some of their staple bourbons and ryes as well as some of the finished expressions. It was a great event overall and I'd love to go back to try more.

I have a lot of appreciation and respect for the guys at Peerless. When my final bourbon tour of the day snuck up on me, they let me chill on the couch and pet a cat for half an hour, instead of just shoving me out the door. In addition to that, the actual tasting itself was pretty solid. Would recommend
The tour was interesting and informative. The bourbons were fantastic as well.
A group of us did the tasting experience and we had a great time.
Great experience!!! I was so surprised by the selection of bourbons available here, some only available here. We were visiting the Bourbon Trail all the way from California and it is so hard, almost impossible to find a variety of Peerless Bourbons. Service here was great, they even fit us into a tasting. The tasting here was like no other. You get to taste a few bourbons and you choose from EVERYTHING they offer!! We loved it! You chose the ones you thought you would like rather than tasting whatever the distillery offered that day. This was great because I do not like ryes! The guys that work here are all about Bourbon and were so informative of their products and process. We left with several bottles and will for sure be back again!!!
Scored the last two bottles of bubblegum cigar. Pricey bourbon but worth it. Makes special occasions more special.
