Get the short ribs. The cornbread is definitely worth the wait. Meghan the manager is awesome. Leah should definitely be running the place. Top tier waitress/bartender. She can remember your order even if you distract her. 10/10 would eat here again.

Wha an amazing place! The drinks are amazing, the food is incredible, and the service is some of the best we’ve ever had. We will for sure be coming back each time we are in town. Highly recommended!!!

I've been to Levee / River House many times and had wonderful experiences. We even had our son's rehearsal dinner there a few years ago. This experience did not meet the standard. We asked to sit outside (there were several open tables) and were told no. One in our party asked to sub shrimp for scallops on a dish (something she had done there many times before) and was told no. Another asked for no tomatoes in a dish and was told no. These were reasonable requests that were denied when they easily could have been met. Service was slow. When we sat down we were told cornbread was on the way. It showed up 45 minutes later at the same time as entrees. Water glasses were left unfilled more than once, too. The food quality was good as usual. They were using a smaller menu tonight which was disappointing as several favorite dishes from the regular menu weren't on the reduced menu. There was also a group sitting near us that was very loud. The staff and management clearly recognized this as a problem but didn't address it. We asked to move tables. Management took their time to move us until the noisy party left instead of reseating us immediately. The lack of consideration for us as customers was a disappointment and very much out of character for the restaurant given our years of enjoyable and memorable visits.

Great food and service. This place is attached to River House Resturant. Outdoor seating is available looking at the river. Reservations are highly recommended on weekends.

We were seated quickly but service was extremely slow. The ambiance and table set up was awkward, almost like it was just thrown together. They were out of the appetizer specials (at 5:30pm, makes me wonder if they had them at all). The short rib was served cold and dry, hard to do with short rib. I'd have ordered something else but she didn't come back to check on the food until my husband was finished eating. The manager was at the hostess stand dropping f bombs. The smoked old fashioned was good and the presentation was awesome. I'd have had another, but once again, she was not attentive. Overall, not the experience I was looking for.

Service needs some work, especially for what customers are paying for the food. The servers were overwhelmed and didn't have any help from the bar pr management. The atmosphere needs more decor on walls. Space doesn't look at all the way it is advertised on the website. Food was INCREDIBLE! Can't emphasize enough how the food made up for everything!

I only have 2 complaints regarding our visit. 1- We received 1 small pan of cornbread, for 4 people. We asked fir a second pan and was told we would be charged for it. I don't understand because if we were a table for 2, we would have received the same pan of cornbread? It shouldn't cost more $ because of more people, especially when the bill will be higher. 2- I asked for pepper, no salt or pepper on the table, and I never received any pepper? It seemed that the waiter was more interested in pushing uncharges and more drinks, than our needs.

Great dinner! Great service. While we were not connected with the weather by sitting inside, the staff took care of all the outdoor patrons when the heavy rain moved in... KUDOS! I do not remember our servers name, my apologies, but he was great! My wife has a severe egg allergy and I have a moderate shellfish allergy... He took care of us and verified everything safe! We really appreciate the attention and detail to service. Thank you.

Wonderful dinner looking at the Ohio River. Two of my favorite apps- the octopus and the Brie. These are some of the best appetizers I've ever had. Ashley was a fun and friendly guide for our meal. We always enjoy Levee and River House.
