LouVino has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Louisville, but last night's visit was a little disappointing. My husband and I were there for our anniversary dinner. Some friends and I met here for lunch on a Saturday just as they opened. We were greeted at the door and shown a table while we waited for everyone to arrive. We noticed that the air conditioning was extremely cold. While it was 90 outside, the restaurant felt like a meat locker. It was uncomfortably cold. Hardly anyone there on a Friday night at 6:30. That should have been a sign. Our appetizer of the loaded, tater tot balls were overcooked bordering on burnt.  Smashburger with bacon, brie and apple butter just was not a good combination. The sweetness of the apple butter really overshadowed what should've been the saltines of the burger and bacon . The atmosphere was beautiful. Our service was great, but the food was subpar at best
