We are visiting from Northwest PA. all 4 meals were excellent. The ribs and honey wings were definitely a favorite to get again. Our server Tony S was awesome!! He made the meal even better with prompt service and handling any special requests!
We experienced this Awesome BBQ place for the first time. The food was excellent and the waitress was fantastic. We were informed that since we were first timers we each got a free slice of their buttermilk pie and a bottle of their BBQ sauce to take home. We tried the combo #1 which had ribs, brisket, pulled pork and their famous honey crunch wings. The combo came with your choice of two sides.
Service was good, but I could hardly say it’s actually barbecue. Tasted like it was cooked in the oven, and sauce poured on it. The burgoo, while everyone makes it different, isn’t burgoo in my book. Tasted more like a beef stew with a brown gravy base. All in all, food was edible. It was ok, but it’s definitely not what barbecue should be.
