We were a big fan of the curry mussels. All of the burgers are delicious. We normally go on Saturday or Sunday around 2pm or 3pm and there's never a wait at that time.

Our first time in Louisville, Kentucky and after all the reviews, we decided to stop in after our 5 hour drive and boy oh boy it was absolutely delicious!Service was friendly and place was really cute! Love the bar and the sign. And lots of seating for you while you wait for your table.The mussels are out of this world!! We got the entree of the Mussels in French broth with garlic and white wine sauce and it was tasty and fresh and just phenomenal! Korean BBQ wings was spicy and tangy. Argentinean burger was as tall as my face and very juicy. Sweet and spicy calamari was my least favorite dish but the stuffed dates with goat cheese and bacon in tomato sauce was surprisingly rich and creamy. Everything was great but you have to get the mussels!!!! Absolutely to die for!

The bartenders were very nice, we ended up ordering dinner up there since there was a wait. For an appetizer we got the short rib nachos and WOW they were delicious and the meat was very tender. ?For dinner we ordered the Wild Mushroom burger ? and the Bacon burger with fries and ranch. Everything was very tasty - the only thing off for us was the saltiness of the food. Aside from that it was a great experience dining at Mussel&Burger bar tonight.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger & lots of salads

My husband and I are just in KY for a quick, overnight bourbon run. We hit up Google for a cheeseburger place between the Buffalo Trace (Frankfort) and Peerless (Louisville) distilleries, and this place came up. The food was really good, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was great! The food was elevated (with both simple and complex options) and came out quickly (we were only there for an hour). The fries were still hot when I finally had to stop eating. The beer was served with a frosty glass, so the last sip was still cold, which never happens for me (I sip slowly).Basically, I would recommend this place to anyone and will remember it if we do a similar trip in the future.

Went with a large group and no reservation, they accommodated us very well with no complaints. EVERY ORDER WAS GREAT! (That's the feedback I got from the group) I personally had the seafood sliders which was shrimp lobster and crab and it was delicious. Also had the curry mussels and those were the best I have had in Louisville. I'll be going back for sure.
