We live in Louisville and we were under the impression that Nic & Norman's would be somewhat touristy - more for out of towners staying downtown. I read other reviews and decided to give it a go. The food was excellent and the service was warm and friendly. It did not feel touristy at all. We had the creole shrimp, Nics Pick burger, the smashburger with chili and fritos, beer and cocktails. All were delicious. We were there on a quiet Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar...

Everything was delicious. We started with the mozzarella and pickles; and I had to the chopped salad, which was so good. Also enjoyed the blackberry Derby drink (name unsure of) but it was quite tasty as well.

Our waitress definitely made the meal enjoyable! Kiki was so friendly, suggested great food and drinks, and overall made this a great experience. The food was tasty and delicious. The portion sizes were a bit too large for me and my spouse.
