Stopped in on a hot day during a visit to Old Louisville district looking for a nice place to sit and refresh. The Italian soda and iced coffee we ordered were great. We also enjoyed the pastry options offered. The vibe was great and the air was cool.

Great spot for coffee and a quick pastry. This place is more than a coffee house and is a pillar of the local community and serves to be a safe gathering spot for the marginalized in a place of outreach to those less fortunate. That means you’re gonna see people that are different from you. Staffing numbers can be hit or miss and sometimes it’s a little slow but one star reviews talking about waiting 20 minutes, etc. are exaggerated. I come by here at least three times a week and have never had to wait more than 5 to 6 minutes to get served when it was especially busy or understaffed. Nine times out of 10 someone’s taking my order within two minutes of walking in the door. The coffee is very good and the service is friendly when they are not too busy and just trying to get people their orders. Glad this place exists in my neighborhood.

I Love the barista that was there. She was very nice. She had told me she came up with a drink called cricket. It was a good suggestion and a delicious drink. Glad that she offered it to me. This place was quite quaint and welcoming. Gave all the right vibes I was looking for on that rainy afternoon

I'm sad to give a poor review for this place. I was looking to explore something new and the 2 year old pictures on Google were of a cute coffee shop with lots of character. Well, it seems the love has faded in this place, the beautiful windows that used to let in all the beautiful sunshine are now plastered with 8×11 flyers for events and causes that don't appear to be cleared off when they expire. I could barely find the front door or really even recognize the place. When you walk in it's dark and there are shelves full of neglected potted plants with visible mold and dead leaves fallen off.
They do have some creative drinks and the coffee tasted pretty good. The food menu is limited. My grilled cheese sandwich was unfortunately half cold.
While I had hoped to hang out and relax for a while. I found myself rushing to get the heck out of there. Again, sad to give this review. I hope the future brings more love and light to this valuable community space.
