As for a while I have been wanting to try otts for lunch and was skeptical at first due to fear of racism. But I was completely wrong about this place . The atmosphere was very welcoming, friendly and kind . Positive vibes. Good people. I felt safe as soon as I walked in . The spaghetti and meatballs lunch special was super delicious. Best I ever tasted before. . The food was made with love . Nothing but great positive energy and good vibes. So if you ever curious about what you want for lunch or just want a nice place to kick back and socialize this is the place to go.

Food on Friday is delicious. We get the fish sandwich. The brat is good as well, but you cannot get better fish in Louisville on Friday than at Ott's Tavern and Sports Bar.

Review from family today 5/31 - “Had a crappy thing happen to us at Ott's tonight. My friend got there at 3:30 to save us a table for all of us. There were 6 of going and two more of us got there at 5:30 and the others were coming a little later. So around 6:30 RD, the owner came up to us and said he needed our table and that it was reserved for some other people and that we had to leave the table. We told him there was no reserved sign on it or the one next to it and that my friend had been sitting there since 3:30 and he said well it really doesn't matter you have to leave this table because he wanted it for his friends. There was no other table for us to sit at and he said I'll get you a table and I said there are no chairs and he said I'll get you chairs too. I asked him why he couldn't get the other people the table and chairs and he said they wanted to sit at the table we were at. We have gone to Ott's many times to see different groups playing there but after this rudeness we will never go back there again!!!!!”
Sounds very disrespectful. They were paying customers also. There were no other tables or chairs available. They were going to have to wait for another party to leave to be able to sit again. Very poor management. Would not recommend.

When to OTT'S Tavern yesterday to see Honky Tonk Rewind. Good Country Band. Tried to see them before but all tables had been reserved. So I called Ott's on Thursday & spoke with Rachel, asked if they reserved tables & was told "No it is 1st come 1st served". I got to Ott's at 3:30 pm, to make sure my friends & I had a table. My friends arrived about 5:30 & we were waiting on 2 more friends to arrive. About 6:30 a man came to our table , said he was the owner & we would have to move we were sitting at a Reserved Table.
I told him I had been there since 3:30 & the Table was not reserved. He told me someone moved the sign. I knew that wasn't true. This man had been there all afternoon & said nothing about the table being reserved. He said he would find us another table, which there were no empty tables. I said "moving us wasn't going to happen". He look at me & said "Oh, it’s happening. I realize it's his Tavern & he could do what he wanted. I knew that it wasn't true. He is not a very truthful person, also made his employees look like they weren't truthful either. So I left, as did my friends. Needless to say I won’t be back. I realize I’m just a regular person, & this is not going to hurt his bottom line. Just want the public to know the type of person they are dealing with at OTT's He is not a very ethical person. Keep in mind I'm in my Seventies, so I guess we were the easiest target for him. So if you're not a friend of his & just a regular person, this could happen to you. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Went for lunch, Fish Friday. Everything was great (Fish and Onion Rings) and I really enjoyed it. Just picked a busy time and the only issue I had was finding a spot to park.
