Super delicious pasta at a reasonable price! The drinks are also fantastic and the ambience is even better. Super cool that the coffee shop is attached. I also picked up a Vodka sauce to take home and cook with and it was hands down the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We were so excited to finally try Pasta Garage, but unfortunately we left hungry and disappointed. We spent around $70 for three meals, one appetizer, and one dessert, and the portions just didn’t match the price at all. The biggest issue was the lack of seasoning—every dish we ordered was bland. The Chicken Alfredo was dry with no flavor, the spaghetti and meatball had no seasoning, and even the lasagna lacked taste.
We originally ordered the spinach dip, but the noodles they served with it were burnt, so we swapped it for the cheese breadsticks. They were overloaded with cheese to the point that we couldn’t even finish them.
I wish I had read the reviews beforehand because it sounds like others have had similar experiences. I know they’re newly opened, so I’m hoping they’ll make some adjustments—because the concept and atmosphere are great, and we truly wanted to love this place.

I was absolutely blown away by this place! The coffee, appetizers, and food were all above and beyond for such a reasonable price. The staff was so hospitable, the music was wonderful and my plate was very delicious! It was an overall amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Pasta Garage in NuLu is definitely a place you’ll want to visit. Not only is the atmosphere inviting and the concept spot on, but the food truly shines. They make their pasta fresh, and you can taste the difference. The chicken piccata is a standout favorite, and the tiramisu is a perfect way to finish off your meal. You can really feel the passion and effort that goes into everything here. If you’re in the area and looking for amazing, freshly made pasta, definitely give it a try!

We really wanted to like this new addition to Nulu but it unfortunately left a lot to be desired.
-food: just okay, not bad, but certainly nothing special. I couldn’t tell it was made fresh and the taste was just kind of bland. Bread was solid. It’s hard to justify coming here and spending money on pasta when Louisville has so many better Italian options. We did enjoy our drinks, but again so many places to get good drinks in this city.
-service: it’s more of a self-serve place. You clean up your own dishes, get your own drinks, etc. when it’s busy in there, it gets hectic with everyone up getting their stuff and bussing their tables. But the staff we encountered were nice.
-atmosphere: the lighting is very strange, it felt like being in a school or hospital. Bright and annoying lights that were so bright it made it VERY hot inside. It was loud and just not a relaxing or enjoyable environment. Set up with the drink machine and cooler is strange and too small, makes it difficult to get.
Overall, it reminded me of a Fazolis with cocktails and higher prices. It wasn’t anything special.

My friend and I tried Pasta Garage for the first time tonight (we knew about the Lexington location but hadn’t been there before) and we were not disappointed! It was a bit of a wait, but that was to be expected for a well-anticipated opening weekend, and we appreciated the fact that they let us know at the register the estimated wait time. I ordered an Aperol Spritz, which came out early and tasted excellent. Our pasta came out promptly and tasted delicious and fresh, and the cheesecake (made in-house) was amazing! Lesme personally stopped by our table to check in with us about our experience and we were very happy with it. The price was definitely not bad at all for such high quality food, and the restaurant is in a great location in Nulu. I will definitely be back soon and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Felt like family. Ordered the lasagna (it was so good!) during their first week they opened, and had a dirty chai coffee on the way out since I was driving out of town! Delicious food. Will be back.

I recently visited Pasta Garage, a brand-new spot in louisville, that completely redefined my understanding of fresh pasta. Everything here is made in-house by hand, and you can genuinely taste the difference in every bite. I was amazed by the variety and the authentic, homey flavors that I didn’t even know I was missing out on. If you think you know pasta, this place will surprise you in the best way possible. Highly recommend it!
