Pesto's Persian & Italian Cuisine

Nice folks, but I ordered the pasta with sausage. Sausage was burnt 2 visits. I wont go back.

I have been eating in this establishment since the 90's and the quality has never slipped. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in Louisville and the best by far Persian restaurants in Kentucky. The food is excellent and the price is unbeatable. I eat there for lunch during the week and one the weekend I eat Persian food there with my family. Its amazing.

This is the perfect spot for a business lunch or a quiet, romantic dinner near downtown. We had our rehearsal dinner here a year ago, and it was perfect for both our party size and our budget. I have been back several times for lunch with colleagues from work, and we just enjoyed a quiet, romantic dinner for our anniversary. Service is quick and friendly; food is consistently good. My family has been coming here for years, and the owner is always on site. We will continue to make this "our place" for special nights out for many years to come.

If our waiter was as good as the food, we would've had a great night. Waiter was very inattentive like it was his first night. I drank my water before my entree came out glasses were 8oz. goblets so cut that in half for the ice. I never got my glass refilled the rest of the night. Then to top it off for the service our waiter ask if we wanted anything else and our response was no that'll be it. Most waiters would bring the check nope not ours we had to ask him to do his job. First time here, I will try it again; maybe it was an off night for service.

First time here and really enjoyed the entire evening. Ordered off the Persian side of the menu and it took me to my days in Turkey. The delicious combination of spices was spot on. However the big surprise of the evening was the ice cream only made here. A Rosewater Pistachio creation of pure heavenly delight! I look forward to returning to Pesto's!

Stopped in for a lunch a couple of weeks ago on way to Nashville. Very tasty dishes. Everything had a very classic feel to it, but all very hearty and delicious. There was a lot of flavor. Skip the chains and eat local.

Stopped in for a quick bit. Very friendly service and some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time. As tourist I'd say Skip the 4th Street mess and stop by here. You won't regret it.

Excellent! I had the Chicken Parmesan on angel hair pasta with pesto sauce. Delicious!
