We celebrated our anniversary here yesterday with a delicious lunch. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful! Hubby had the cod and fried oysters and declared the oysters were the best he ever had. My shrimp basket was loaded with huge shrimp and the Cajun fries were very good. We topped that great meal off with complimentary slices of strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes for our anniversary! We will definitely be back!

Had the Catfish Basket with Onion Rings, and a side of Coleslaw. ALL the food was fresh, and the fish and rings HOT. EXCELLENT and will definitely come back! Oh, and did I say portion for the prices were excellent, too? ;-)

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple times and the food has always been great. This time, I ordered a seafood boil with crab legs and sausage. I got the garlic butter seasoning and medium heat. The service was meh. My food came out wrong (hot instead of medium). My mouth was on fire. It took forever to get the server to come back. She was very nice and sweet but it seems like she kept forgetting about us. It also took forever to get the check.

The food was amazing!! I had gator tails, the first time for that, and it was actually good. I also had a fried shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. My friend had a seafood boil selection. 😋

My oysters were more batter than oyster and wasn't that way last time ate there. Onion rings were fantastic and loved the sauce for oysters. The problem I had was that the male blonde head server kept blowing his nose and wiping his eyes and didn't wash or gel his hands before picking up his iPad and going to a table to take their orders--' imagine all those germs on their glasses and food out to them. There is even gel @ the door. Shame on him...SO GLAD HE WAS NOT OUR SERVER--'JUST NASTY !!!

This was my first time trying Pier 17 in Louisville. I loved it! Great food. Really fast and friendly service. Loved the family atmosphere and diversity while dining. The tables were clean the bathrooms were fresh. I didn't feel like the food was heavy in my stomach. I just loved it all the way around!

The shrimp was great. The crap was great. The eggs were great. The corn was wonderful. The drink was absolutely spot on, but the sausage that they cook my food in was spoiled. My son and I sat down and ate for my birthday. I push mine away, and it taste kind of funny taste like it spoiled my son said the same thing, the management was wonderful. They removed that cost off my bill but later that night my stomach was upset. New that I never seen before was that they put broccoli in my bag never seen it before the broccoli was fine but it just thrown off. I wasn’t expecting it. I didn’t see broccoli on the menu, but broccoli was in my bag.

The management is so unprofessional. (Specifically Mia). I witnessed her bully and speak so rudely to my server. To put it quite frankly; that server could/should actually do Mia’s position. The server was awesome. But management ruined my experience there. As long as Mia is there . I will not return .
Stopped at the restaurant by accident and had a great dinner. Larry was a great server.

Went to Pier 17, first time on 9/22/24, for dinner, to specifically have crab legs. Was not disappointed! Crab was perfect! Potatoes were just right! Corn on cob was just right! Broccoli was cooked perfectly - not mushy, not overly crunchy! Our server, Todd, was exactly as a server should be!!! He didn’t try over-the-top; he didn’t try to join us in our conversation; he kept an eye on our drinks from a distance; he brought what we asked for; he helped another server; he helped a woman who spilled her drink all over herself; he removed our used materials promptly; he brought the check right when we were ready for it; he brought our card back right away without doing 5 other things on the way. We visit Kentucky once a month and will be back for dinner 10/19/2024 and if Todd is there, would like to be seated in his section.
Went back on 10/19/2024. Was not disappointed again. Four of us this time. All had snow crab. Crab was perfect. Potatoes just right. Broccoli perfect. We sat in Tod’s section again. Great server. Not an over-the-top, looking-for-a-big-tip kind of server. Just right. Can’t think of a negative thing to say about either visit. Thank you.
