Make sure you try the Kentucky Common, a living part of Kentucky history.

I love their rotating Cider selection, and I tend to get food from the pizza place next door or a snack from the cat cafe nearby and bring it over! Plenty of seating, the bartenders are really nice, and they have trivia on Wednesday! Dog and child friendly too, and they have some board games to borrow and play. Would definitely recommend going by and checking it out ☺️

Visited this charming brewery on Bardstown road and was delighted by its cozy atmosphere. The combination of mid-century furniture and warm lighting created a welcoming vibe. The beer selection was top-notch, offering a variety of flavorful brews to suit every palate.

Went there with a group after bringing in some post pizza next door and the beers I tried were fantastic. The bartender was very nice and the atmosphere was quiet (on a weekday). I’ll be back here to try more for sure!

Tasty brews & a tame environment to chill with friends & family- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -If you're bar-hopping Bardstown Road, this might not be your top stop: while they have beer, bourbon, & a couple of signature cocktails, it's a much more laid-back vibe than most of the local scene. However, since I left my 20s, this suits me MUCH better! It's so delightfully mellow, in fact, that we brought my dad here on his 72nd birthday so that he could enjoy a craft brew without the bruhaha (see what I did there?) that comes with most of the Highlands venues. That's not to say it's boring! On the contrary, there are board games & pinball machines for entertainment, and for once, it's actually not so loud you can't carry on a conversation! It's the perfect homebody's counterpoint to the loud clubs where you go to party: this is where you bring your friends to chill. The taproom itself has ample seating as well as tables, where you are invited to bring in outside food (which they don't serve in house) and play games. I really loved this, because my family & I have different tastes so we treated the various Bardstown Road restaurants like a big food court and brought our separate take-out selections to Pivot, where we could eat together. It was remarkably nice. Kids as well as dogs are also welcome; next time I will for sure bring my pooches, too!The bar staff is super friendly and attentive. You won't have to wait 10 minutes to be served! I've tried several of their selections via flights (available for both their beers & ciders), & liked most of them. The habanero cider is actually a surprising fave: it isn't too spicy or too sweet, but has a lovely tart zip to it. I also really liked the strawberry sour on the beer side. On our most recent visit, I tried one of the signature cocktails - a pomegranate sour - and found it to be a tasty & well-balanced option. There is also a solid bourbon selection available for spirits purists, & non-alcoholic sodas available for non-drinkers.We spent under $40 (not including tip) for 4 people including a flight, a cocktail (plus one free - the bartender wanted to experiment with a new recipe!), two beers, and a cider, plus buying a round for the kind employee behind the bar.I would highly recommend this as a gathering place for groups of ALL ages to have laid-back conversations and good beers, but especially for those of us who are recently aging out of a lot of the nightlife scene.Parking: Free street parking available on Bardstown Road, except during rush hour(s).Kid-friendliness: Kids (and dogs) are welcome inside. There are not a ton of drink options for kids, however.

Absolutely love this place. Pivot has been a great addition to the Louisville Craft beer scene. They have also turned me into a person who appreciates a good cider. One of my go to places to sit and chill.

One of the few newest breweries to open in Louisville, even though they originated in Lexington KY it's new to Lou. It's located on Bardstown Road where Purrfect Day Cafe and Nail bar is. Street parking is of course available. Inside is quite spacious and pet friendly. There is bar seating and table seating and about 2-3 pinball machines available for play and you can also order Za's pizza to be delivered there. Definitely something to keep in mind beings they don't have their own food there. My friend and I sat at the bar and did a flight from the list on the wall. Our bartender was attentive, friendly, and gave us background on Pivot. My favorite beer I will say had to be the Viceroy (S/O to Phantom Menace) my friend liked one of the ciders and I forget the flavor. We did play some pinball machine for a little bit. We had an awesome experience here and will come again, and maybe order some Za's.

Great brewery and the beer is really good! I recommend the IPAs and if they have some of the In my 64 cans left, you should grab those. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Really big space so lots of room to hang out.

Great brewery addition to Bardstown Road! They have a good balance of ciders and beers. The space is warm and inviting, as are the bartenders. Dog friendly too.
