The restaurant was beautiful, the food was amazing, the service quick and efficient. Unfortunately, we chose to sit at a high top table and there didn't seem to be much effort made by staff to encourage people waiting for other tables to not crowd us. The wine was definitely overpriced. Ultimately, we would go back again but a few small changes could elevate the experience.
The total experience was amazing! We started off with the special salad that was a combination of roasted corn and fried green tomatoes. It was amazing! I ordered the special surf and turf it was a fillet along with three scallops and spring vegetable risotto, which was the best I have ever had. The other People in my party had the seafood special  and the scallops over a bucatini pasta! Service was amazing atmosphere was vibrant and I highly recommend! 
We returned to Louisville to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were married in Louisville 36 years ago and our first home was in Crescent Hill right around the corner around on Hillcrest Avenue. Porcini was one of our favorite restaurants! Delicious food and drinks and the service was outstanding!
