The Happy Sunday rolls are pretty good. We also had the hibachi filet. It wasn't worth the $27 price tag. The vegetable spring roll was packed with cabbage and carrot. Very satisfied with the ratio of the veg roll. Overall, good experience. I dont have to revisit

Review Title: Discriminatory Treatment and Unjust Gratuity Charge I’m extremely disappointed by the treatment I received at this restaurant. I was automatically charged a 20% gratuity, yet two other parties sitting at the same grill were not. When I questioned this, I was told it was because those customers “don’t come in the restaurant all the time,” which makes no sense and raises serious concerns about fairness and discrimination. To make matters worse, I was told I should be able to afford it because of my jewelry and appearance—a completely inappropriate and offensive assumption that has no place in a professional business setting. This felt deeply disrespectful and discriminatory. When I asked for a copy of my receipt to see the charge, they initially refused to give it to me, and I was told I was “obligated” to tip. For the record, I always tip for good service—but being forced into it under these conditions, especially when others are not held to the same standard, is completely unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I hope the management takes this seriously. Fair and respectful treatment should be extended to all customers, regardless of how often they dine there—or how they look.

Excellent hibachi and sushi. Plenty of parking, spacious inside, and very friendly staff. The food was EXCELLENT and the prices were standard for a hibachi grill.

Sushi sashimi udon fresh and delicious Saturday packaging order ㅎ We waited for more than an hour, but it was still good and the food was good.

This place is a fire hazard!🔥The hibachi tables are shoved in the back corner of the restaurant and if you’re sitting in the very back row, you get trapped back there and can’t even leave your seat to use the restroom! You have to ask six other people to get up from their seats so you can at least walk past them (on either side of you) Terrible design and I’m fearful that the combination of this set up and open flame cooking could result in tragic consequences. ⚠️

Food was sub-par, lacked flavor, and overpriced for the quality. Tables were sticky and overall cleanliness was concerning. Won’t go back.

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a hibachi place around Louisville. After trying a competitor’s restaurant and being met with long wait times we tried Samurai. We were immediately sat and given our menus.

We both got the hibachi steak and shrimp, and while that was really good, the star of the show was the deep fried crab roll! That was the single best sushi dish I have ever had! I also liked the chicken broth soup versus the traditional miso soup (which is available for those who want it).

Our chef had a good sense of humor and put on a good show, but he could have used some work on his order accuracy. However, besides that it was a great experience!
