I got General Tso's chicken and fried rice. I asked for it extra spicy and they didn't play any games with how spicy they made it: for reference, I dip tortillas in habanero hot sauce for a snack. But they offer it non-spicy if you ask.

Sometimes with chicken from chinese restaurants you have to toss a few pieces of gristle; not here. All the chicken they served me was tender and moist. Fried rice was the same, everything was well-cooked. Taste was great as well.

Parking: It is tucked back inside of a dip in the strip mall store fronts so you may miss it when driving by.

We went to Sichuan Garden Chinese Restaurant for Dinner and to buy a gift certificate for a family member. We’ve been going to this restaurant with our daughter for 22 years, but the first time we’ve gone by ourselves for a long time. One of the owners met us inside the door and took us to our seat. The decor is beautiful! I couldn’t get pictures of all of the beauty because people were sitting all around and I didn’t want to invade their privacy. The Chinese Robe (Quipao- a woman’s robe) that’s hung on the large window display in the front dining room is my favorite. We looked over the menu and ordered Vegetable Egg Rolls off the Appetizer Menu. (Really a nice price for of $3.95 for 4 Egg Rolls.) My favorite choice for my dinner was Beef & Broccoli with Water Chestnuts in Brown Sauce. My husband wanted to try the Moo Goo Gai Pan, he hadn’t had it for a while. We both chose Fried Rice and we only had to wait a short time to get the Egg Rolls and as we were stopping with those, our server brought our meals. They were both so delicious and large portions. After we finished eating she asked me if I needed a box and she dished up my leftovers. They brought out our Fourtune Cookies and told us goodbye and to come back. We had such a wonderful time. We want to go back to Sichuan Garden Chinese Restaurant again and my husband is already thinking about what he wants to eat.

The best FRIED RICE. My order: HOUSE fried rice- no bean sprouts and extra egg. Chicken eggroll. Friendly service. Classic decor. Quiet.

The staff was very nice and attentive, but the food is simply overpriced and just not great compared to the majority of other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried. Pretty small portions for the price. For example, got 2 egg rolls that were just alright. Nothing special, small, and $3.69 each. Reminded me of something I could purchase in bulk in Costco freezer section, unfortunately. Pork Wontons were not good at all, and were one-bite-sized. General Tso chicken was good, but about $4 overpriced for the amount of chicken you get and the “fried rice” on the side was terribly bland and literally just rice tossed in a pan with a hint of soy sauce. Now, the large beef fried rice with ingredients more than just the rice was actually pretty good, but still lacked flavor compared to other fried rice dishes I’ve had. It was $15.99, plus I added green onions for another $1.00. The portion was, again, smaller than other places and lacked any real flavor to it. I had initially requested pork fried rice but was told they don’t offer it! That was a new one for me, considering they have pork and fried rice but hey, I didn’t want to argue. I wish I could report a better experience because the staff was very nice. So that is why 2 stars instead of 1. Maybe I caught them on a bad night? Not sure but the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night, so I’m thinking other people may feel the same way.

We drive 70 miles, one way, because the food and service are excellent. We generally have dinner for two. Their egg rolls are the best! Crab Rangoon is excellent. The crust is crunchy but not tough. We love the Mongolian beef and cashew chicken.

We discovered this place while traveling. The place is quiet and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I worked in a Chinese restaurant for four years in the 70s, and this place has the best wonton soup when compared to others. The food arrives hot and fresh with the vegetables crisp and not overcooked.

Vegetarian options: I had the Singapore mixed vegetables. Vegetables were hot and crisp, not overcooked.

Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is quiet with a family atmosphere.

It’s sort of tucked in that alcove, but so glad we kept hunting for it. It was well worth it! Very delicious food and great service, clean, and the staff were just great!

This place is incredible. Like the old time Chinese restaurants of the 70s/80s. I had a pork egg roll which came three homemade sauces to choose from but I only needed the hot mustard. It was perfect. My main dish was Sichuan Beef and Shrimp with fried rice. There were various levels of spicy. I told them to try and hurt me. They smashed it! Perfect spice level. Fresh vegetables. Best food I've eaten out in a long time. I travel for work and will definitely be back next month. Enjoy.

Nice looking restaurant and decor. Waitress was friendly and provided good service. The wonton soup was hot and tasty. It was just a tad bit over salted. I ordered the Moo Goo Shrimp. It was a nicely flavored entree. This is a nice restaurant for a nice quiet to meal.

We have eaten here a couple of times traveling to Louisville. Atmosphere is beautiful, every dish has been tasty, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We only wish we had one closer to where we live. On our last visit, we had veggie lo mein, green pepper steak, cashew chicken, bean curd tofu, spring rolls, wonton soup, and hot tea. Our group ate every bit! So delicious! We can't wait to return.

No clue if the food is good, only 2 servers working on a Saturday night. The hostess was awful. Work on your customer service skills.
