We happened to be staying in Louisville and found this amazing place. With no reservations, we sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. Everything was above bar. Excellent.

Volare never disappoints! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this fine establishment and enjoyed the special treatment from the valet, the seating hostess and the very attentive waitress. I had the Sea Bass Picatta which was one of the specials for the night. It was excellent and I hope that they keep offering it since I plan to order it again on our next visit. For our anniversary they surprised us with a delicious slice of cheesecake drizzled with a chocolate lettered anniversary wish. Remarkably, my wife and I got each other the exact same anniversary card! It was fitting for a night when we both also decided independently that we wanted to dine at Volare.

Obviously, this place is a little pricey. Great place to celebrate. Service is impeccable. Get the mussels and if possible sit at the bar if you want to spend less. Different menu at the bar, lower cost wine and random apps.Parking: Park on the street just a block away.

Had the rollintini for an appeitzer, the ricotta was a little too sweet for me, but that's personal preference. Main course, osso buco, was wonderful! Very nice wine selection. Wish the tiramissu had a heavy espresso flavor (there was none), but the cake itself was good. Overall fantastic meal, excellent service, and great atmosphere!

This place was incredible. We were visiting Louisville for a weekend, and I have a hard time choosing a restaurant when I’m in a new town. I just want to make sure I’m making the most of my short trip and picking a place that’s local and worth the trip. Volare was fantastic start to finish. Just to begin the meal, the olive oil with garlic served with the bread was excellent. For our starter, we had the rotollini di melanzane, and I almost wanted to drink the marinara sauce, it was that good. My entree was the filetto di salmone and hers was the capellini di sorrento, and while my salmon was absolutely flawless, I tried her capellini and it was honestly life changing. The best meal I’ve ever had and I barely even ate any of it! We finished the night with the crème brûlée which was a perfect end to the night. I also had the Chef’s pick bourbon flight throughout my meal, which was excellent. We are also a big fan of Chopped, so loved that the executive chef Joshua Moore is a Chopped champion! Expect to spend a lot of money here (our bill was $118 for the two of us), but in my opinion our meal was worth every penny. If you are looking for a nice night out in Louisville, I can’t recommend Volare enough.

My boyfriend and I went here for my early birthday dinner and WOW. This was the first time I’d ever been here and I was so impressed with everything! Our server was amazing (he spelled his name for us but I have completely forgotten, I think it was Paush? Sorry if that’s incorrect!) you could tell he took so much pride in his job and made sure we understood everything on the menu. The bruschetta was one of the best things I’ve ever! I had the ravioli and it was delicious. We also shared 3 desserts because we couldn’t pick just one, and they were all so good, the Spumoni was my favorite. The ambience was really nice too. I can’t wait to go back ?

Lovely place! I was invited here by a loved one for a birthday dinner and I can say everything was lovely. The live music, the service, the food and the aura in general. Their lasagna is probably the best lasagna I’ve ever had and I can say that I enjoyed every single bite of the dessert. If you are looking for a lovely aura to have a date with a loved one, this is the perfect place. ^^

Been here before, but we went on my birthday. I am what a great experience they made me feel so special. Food is always great. I love the Alfredo. However, the lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. Did I even mention that dessert?.

Loved everything about our experience at the restaurant. The service was outstanding (thanks Leslie and Chris). The food was amazing (fruit of the sea and mussels). The outdoor patio area was fully enclosed, heated, and carpeted. So glad we chose this place for my niece's birthday dinner.

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! The cappellini di sorrento was velvety, and not at all heavy for a cream based dish! The scallops are mouth watering, as well, and we enjoyed a bottle of the best Moscato we've ever tasted!

It was horrible. Flavorless, greasy, couldn't eat it at all. I don't recommend this place at all.
