Pound and a half of fish and a cup of onions. This is the best fish ever. I've been coming here for over 60 years. It used to be across from AAF and the South Louisville railroad yards, where my grandfather worked. It's a long standing tradition for me and the family.
I had no idea this place existed until I saw it on Tiktok, but I'm super glad I found out about it. They have some of if not the best fried fish I've ever had. The coleslaw, fries, and marinated onions were great too. Get the rye bread, since apparently that's what everyone else gets 🤣 (And everyone is right; rye bread is the correct choice.) They have a great system here and it shows.

Louisville staple! Delicious fish and fries. The fish is thick and not too much breading. Definitely get your moneys worth! Don’t forget to get the onions on your sandwich. So good! Look forward to it every year on Saturdays. Make sure you get there before they run out!!
