“Always positive - I usually stop by on Wednesdays or Thursdays around 10pm (when other places would be slow, closed or unfriendly) but my experiences at this Taco Bell are always really good. Efficient, friendly, food is always good and orders are correct.
Last night a young gentleman named Joel (Joelle, Joe L, something like that) was super helpful and kind, just generally seemed happy to be at work. I asked if a limited time menu was available, it wasn't, and he went above and beyond to suggest a similar item that's on the menu permanently. Then, when I got to the window he gave me the inside scoop on when the seasonal item would be in the store. Just a friendly chill dude who made a 10pm fast food visit enjoyable.
Ive had similar experiences with others on their night crew and all are pleasant and helpful. People like this ought to be celebrated more often.

“Surprisingly fast service for a taco bell location. Really friendly staff store was spotless wait times were really low. Order actually had everything in it which is a first from any location I've been to here in Louisville. All in all love everything about my experience with this location .“
“This Taco Bell is our favorite. They often have a slightly different menu than company stores. Service is fast and accurate; except you have to wait for assistance if you want to order inside without using the kiosk.
They accommodate reasonable requests without problem. My son's no tomatoes and extra cheese comes out correct about 0% of the time.“

“11/19/25 update - I went through the drive thru last night and, as usual, there are friendly attitudes, and good food. The people at this Taco Bell have been pretty much the same helpful/good/positive crew for eight years now (see my original post below.) How is that possible, THESE DAYS? I do generally go late night from 9PM-3AM, and I'm reviewing only the 5414 New Cut location.
Whatever formula/strategy/guiding principals that this Taco Bell location has had in play for the better part of a decade needs to be studied, and repeated all over the place. I haven't done enough digging to understand if it's handed down from a consistent ownership/partner level, or it is on-the-ground long-term management staff.
Regardless, well done people! Keep up the good work!

“Another day, another Taco Bell. I'm actually eating here, right now.
I ordered a Chilli Cheese burrito and a Pinto bowl, and I have to say of all the fare on Taco Bells menu, this has to be the better option.
The Burrito is well stuffed and flavorful, and also isn't greasy. Above all else, it's cheap.
The Pinto bowl is also flavorful, the refried beans are smooth and not chunky and the whole bowl tastes good.
Although the staff are eager to serve with smiling faces and got my order correct, some of the tables here could stand to be bussed and cleaned off. But the place isn't filthy or anything.
Overall, definitely a good location to get your taco fix, or if you're like me and a fan of the Bell.“
“ANNOYING GUY IS STILL THERE! STILL GETTING ORDERS WRONG AND NOT UNDERSTANDING NAMES! Staff that fixes and prepares the food are wonderful, fast and efficient! They work very hard!! But...THERE IS AN OLDER WHITE GUY WITH GLASSES THAT RUNS THE DRIVE THRU THAT IS VERY ANNOYING AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND MOBILE ORDERS, APP ORDERS AND REPEATS NAMES UNTIL THE WHOLE DRIVE THRU GETS MAD! This location no longer sells breakfast but they open at 9:00 am. They stay open until 4:am“
“My husband and I have food allergies so we always have to make modifications to our food. With most fast food places you never know if you'll get the food correctly. We went here around 3:30pm on 7/20 and not only was the food made correctly it was hot and delicious! Honestly the best tacobell we've had in years!!“
“Had a mishap with doordash earlier, unfortunately I had gotten the wrong order. however, Jake figured out a way to get me a new dasher so I could get my food. I was fully expecting to have to come in, and was honestly worried I wouldnt be able to as I am at work. Thanks to Jake I still get to enjoy my food on my lunch break. “Very peaceful.in side in the evening. We had 4 kiddos got a 12p pack of tacos for them husband got his normal,wishing they would come back with meximelt!!! Although a young woman said she can still make it and told me anytime I'd like it tell them cheese roll up and beef and peco sauce, bam I love this place, also had a dragon fruit slush there couple days ago. “Always use drive-thru. Whoever owns/manages the two taco bells on New Cut Road hires terrific staff. Always nice and friendly. Gets order out fast. They still give a senior discount on drinks!!! The food is, well, it's Taco Bell. What else can you say. I like it.“
“Our cashier, Michael S., gave us the best customer service from the time we placed our order at the drive-thru and all the way through the process. It was close to Midnight a couple days before Christmas and he was professional, courteous, fun, and got us on our way quickly.

“I ordered from the drive thru tonight, and I was very surprised with the food. The nacho fries were so fresh, and the chili cheese burrito tasted like it used to when I was a kid. The employees were so polite and everything came out quickly. It was the best overall experience I've had from any Taco Bell in years. “For a long time I refused to visit this location because of terrible customer service experiences. Either tonight was a fluke or this TB turned things around. Everybody was super polite, my food was right, and it was ready like two minutes after I put my order in at the kiosk.
There is a location blocks away from my house that just opened that is frankly, abysmal. I will now drive past that location an extra 10 minutes to come here when I want Taco Bell.“
“Fast and great service. After our visit, I decided to call and commend the team for their service; That was the most neat and beefy taco I have ever gotten from Taco Bell! (Pat yourself on the back cook) The Gentleman working the window/cashbox, carried himself with confidence & respect. “Late night run for some tacos! The service was good. The food was fresh! Didn't take any time to get my food from the time I ordered it to the time I got it. My chalupa shell was fresh & crispy, just the way I like it. The tacos were good, too. The dining room was clean & the employees were nice & made sure everything I ordered was in my bag,including lots of mild & hot sauce. Definitely worth the late night run when hunger strikes!“
“This is hands-down the best Taco Bell I have been to in my life, and I have been to a lot of different ones in multiple different states. The food is hot and fresh, quick, and the service is exceptional. The morning and evening shift managers stay on their stuff and make you feel welcome! I will continue to be loyal to this location.
