First time here. Service was very slow and we had time ask for things like water, utensils and napkins repeatedly. The only thing that came right away was the check. Might try again but it will be awhile.

The food was good,
The staff was friendly.
Unfortunately they didn't have a number of things that my spouse ordered off the menu.
If you have your coffee machine working again and your dessert back in stock next time we drop by I'll give you a better score.

Stopped in before heading to the speed art museum..Service was HORRIBLE!!!... first of all waited 15 minutes to get a beer then we ordered the " Loaded Fries" and we were brought loaded nachos didn't send back because didn't want to have to wait again for the food to be remade the nachos were decent.. waiting on my second beer and ordered the wings server said we could add chips and purchase queso for an extra $1.50 so we order the chips and queso the chips tasted as if they were little bit burnt.. while waiting for my second beer by the way it said at the bar for several minutes by the time the server brought my beer there was no head on the beer.. are server didn't seem to have any sense of urgency on delivering food and timely manner and drinks... after leaving the museum we decided to go back and maybe have a couple of more drinks with some other family that we had met at the Museum ..we arrvied and was told to sit where we liked so we chose six top table well a party of two came in after us was waited on before us had to wait for a beer again and so when the girl finally brought the beer we cashed out finished our drink and left ....I was so disappointed on the lack of decent service at a restaurant!!.. we also noticed that other people at other tables were having to get up to go and ask for drinks at the bar I think you all need to come up with a better system on how to get food out and drinks out to the table in a timely manner

It's been around forever. I've been going for 30 years. It's a great little neighborhood place with excellent burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and beer. An awesome place to watch a game, catch up with college friends, or bring the family. There's something on the menu for everyone.
Kid-friendliness: The menu has kid-friendly options. The atmosphere is mild, not like a rowdy bar. I've brought my kids here since they were babies.

We always have a great time here. I wish they were more consistent with having Guinness available on tap.
You all need to get your stuff together! Organization is nonexistent, staff is all over the place, food rating is between mediocre and cold.

We waited over 40 minutes at our table without any acknowledgment from the waitress, who served two tables that arrived after us and had attitude when we finally hailed her down. The place was slammed but the bar tender (we had to go in to order drinks and water) and waitress took time to make small talk with friends. We watched several people who'd been waiting at the bar give up and leave while the bartender changed the TV channels instead of taking orders.
Our waitress pointedly ignored us after taking our food order, while checking on everyone around us. I get being busy. Worked in service a lot! I don't get outright ignoring people. Subpar food for the price. Not worth the 2.5 hours we had to sit here.

The customer service is absolutely awful. Whoever was working the evening of St. James Art Fair on Saturday was a total asshole on the phone. I ordered $50 worth a food and got a cold, nasty burger, with soggy ass fries missing two out of the three items on my order. I asked if I could just come get the missing items myself and inconvenience myself as I would have gotten it myself if I wanted to in the first place.. and he said NO. You must go through Uber eats to get your refund. Excuse me sir but I worked at the Old Louisville Tavern for over 6 years and we would have NEVER turned someone down to come get the missing items from their paid order. TEAM TAV FOR LIFE??

A tradition every year at The St James Court Art Show.

This is a great place to watch sports. Not too big to be impersonal, the food is good and the waitresses are courteous and attentive. Well worth the time.
Parking: Paid street parking, but after six till midnight no need to pay to park.

Hasn't changed much in the 30ish years I've been stopping by. The food is always good and the beer always cold.

Omg, we were in heaven with their food!! I'm so glad I chose to go here, the best decision I've made in a long time!!
We went again on 9/21/2024 and the food sucked!! I'm so pissed!! The only thing that was right was my pepper jack cheese balls. My chicken sandwich was salty as hell and so was my hubby's fish and chips!! We won't be going back anytime soon. Also, the waitress walked pass us with the menus, the water, and then tried to bring us water that was for the table behind us. Like is you slow or something!! And another thing, whoever that man is with the glasses tried to clean up a spill while he had our food in his hand!! I had to tap him and ask him to give us our food first!! Like wth!!
