First time in the states for me, I wanted something familiar so, got to look for the Irish places near by.
This place is genuinely Irish.
Really enjoyed the food (potato and leek soup, and fish and chips. Had to get dessert tk go because i was so full).
Wait staff was so nice, very polite, helpful, and easy to talk to (thank you Elaine).
Owner was making sure to get around to talk to people, which was great. Getting to have that personal feel.
The aesthetics of the place, it really felt like something from back home in Ireland with the decor. The old wooden furniture that you would see in a traditional Irish pub or restaurant.
I'll definitely be going back!

I really love this restaurant. I went to school with one of the owners kids and they used to bring in soda bread every saint patricks day. They've always been wonderful and the food is wildly good.

I’ve been to Ireland twice and I never found fish and chips better than what you get at Irish Rover

Had dinner tonight at The Irish Rover and was disappointed to say the least. My husband had the Cottage Pie and there were only 2 pieces of meat in the entire dish. It was all mashed potatoes, gravy and bread. There was supposed to be a beef stew in there somewhere. When we mentioned it to our waitress she said, “Everyone says that!” The atmosphere was very loud and a bit overwhelming. We waited for about 30-40 minutes for our food and another 15 just to get our check. There is only one credit/debit card terminal. I’ve eaten here before but it has been a long time since then. Not sure I’ll return.

The scotch eggs were well worth the trip.

Fabulous Irish pub. I had the fish and chips and Mom had the lamb stuffed cabbage. We also shared a cheese plate. We both agree that the lamb stuffed cabbage was the best! I don't know what magic they use to make their mashed potatoes but wow! We're definitely going to return.

The food was hit and miss. The beef stew has a porridge consistency, not really a stew. But it did taste good. The fish and chips on the other hand was really good, crispy not excessively oily and very flavorful. Service was ok, the server was nice and attentive when we could get her attention.

I have loved this place since working there in 1996. Proprietors Michael and Siobhan are two of the kindest in the industry. Everything is always spot on and if they know you by name they go out of their way to say hello. You can't go wrong when frequenting this fine establishment.

One friend never got her order and a another they got her order wrong. And I felt they more interested in selling alcohol. Probably not going back.
