The Old Seelbach Bar Reviews
Simply the Best! Highly Recommended!!
We had an excellent visit to the Seelbach hotel today! The concierge, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable about the building and amenities. He showed us around the lobby and answered our questions. We will definitely be back to stay at this historic property!
Great walkable location, grand yet cozy public spaces, feels at once easygoing and professional.

The Old Seelbach Bar is a popular spot within the hotel, known for its wide selection of bourbons and expertly crafted cocktails. This iconic bar, located on the lobby level of the Seelbach Hotel, has an undeniable historical vibe that evokes the atmosphere of the Roaring 20s. The friendly bartenders are happy to create any drink to customers' liking, and the bourbon list is extensive, making it a destination bar for Louisville visitors. The menu includes a range of appetizers, such as a beer pretzel and hummus plate, which have received mixed reviews. While the pretzel may not be for everyone, there are plenty of other bites to complement the drinks. The food is impressive, and the setting is perfect for guests to appreciate the historical significance of the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, allowing customers to linger and enjoy their experience. The bar has a cozy atmosphere, serving late-night snacks like fries and tacos, making it an excellent place for a nightcap.
