Reservation with Open Table. Table was downstairs, located in a corner by the "cooler" with air blowing right at us. Asked to be moved, pointed out other tables. Was told they were reserved. And ours wasn't? Service was marginal. Noise level, unacceptable. Shrimp and grits, grits portion was a soup. Although we live in the area, we don't frequent the Anchor. Think I remember why. This was the first time we had ever been to the Village Anchor. We will definitely be going back. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and our server was amazing. If you get an appetizer definitely get the wontons, and the fried chicken entrée is the best fried chicken I've ever had at any restaurant
The food was good, although we waited 30 minutes for our reserved table and our waitress was not very attentive. We had to get up and get her attention several times, especially when we wanted our check- and we were the only table in the restaurant at that time!
