The food was delicious ,nutritious ,colorful and you can tell it was made with love. They have different varieties of extravagant foods from different cultures. Mind blown, just AWESOMENESS! I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE HERE NOOOOO.Um umm good. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, I just love it here.I have never ever had this experience, anywhere.Thank you Trujillo for the love.

My friend and I have been trying to eat at all the restaurants on Preston Highway. Trujillo immediately rocketed up into our Top 5. My first time trying Honduran food and it was outstanding: great flavors and fresh ingredients. I had the tajadas con carne molida. The crunchy shaved cabbage and fresh pico and the texture of the crisp plantains paired so well with the meat and other toppings. The server was friendly and attentive. This is clearly a family restaurant and they are working hard to provide you with an excellent experience.

It took 2 hrs to get half our food. The tortillas were burnt, the fried chicken was still bleeding and we had them box up the last 3 plates that never came out. Server was friendly and kept apologizing but it’s not her fault kitchen was short staffed. We were patient but the fact that the food was pricey and had no flavor was the biggest disappointment of all. I will never waste money here again. Almost $100 worth of the boxed food was thrown away. & $3 for a water bottle when the nestle pack of water is $4 is crazy - let alone I asked for a cup of water and was given a water bottle.
Basically they only had guanabana juice available. No seafood soup available. Almost everything we tried to get was out. It should have been our warning sign but here to tell others our experience.
Oh and that raw chicken? Was taken pack to kitchen, never returned and was charged to the bill. Waited an hour for chicken empanadas and got beef empanadas.
A family of 8 came in after us and ate and left before we got half our meals. Ridiculous. Manager didn’t bother to try to explain everything but asked if he could take our photos smh.
If you’re looking for a quiet bar with music they got it. I wouldn’t recommend the food though.

We went for lunch on Thursday. It was excellent. We concluded that everything was made from scratch, that was the only explanation for how good everything tasted. I will note, we were the only people in the place around 1:30pm. Service was great, friendly, and the chicken tacos were fantastic. One of the best Latin places I've ever been to in Louisville. (note: they're Honduran not Mexican)
