We heard about La Morena through Yelp's virtual event with Farm + House and decided to visit this bakery in person to check it out. As we parked we noticed that OPEN light was off. It was an afternoon so we thought maybe they had closed, but when we were through shopping at the small Mexican grocery next door the sign was lit, so we went in. My first trip there, but not my last. The cashier was very sweet while she explained all of my choices. Their pastries are delicious. The chips are not overly salty and did not break when dipped. I know where I am getting tortilla chips from now on. I look forward to returning to try more of their delicacies.

Support a locally owned and operated bakery. The best tres leches cake I’ve ever had! Made from scratch and with love. They also have amazing tortilla chips. Do yourself a favor and go check it out! You won’t be disappointed!
