Yafa Cafe and Falafel House are my two favorite Palestinian restaurants in town. Yafa Cafe has the best hummus, falafel, salads, shawarma, and baklava (from the Grape Leaf...also excellent)! The owners are very welcoming and are loyal to their customers. I miss the days of Yafa Cafe staying open late into the evening in Theater Square. At least they are still around. I definitely recommend!

I'm always looking to try new restaurants, so when one of my friends suggested Yafa Cafe for lunch I was super excited to try it out! I have an office downtown, and this spot is really close to it, yet I had never been. It was awesome to discover such a great spot so close to my office! I walked over to meet my friend and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of menu options I was met with - appetizers, meal plates, salads, sandwiches, desserts, smoothies, and more! I opted for the Chick Shawarma Plate, which included Hummus, Arabic Salad, and Rice. I also had Pita and a red spicy hot sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious! Especially that sauce! I added it to everything, and it was all so good. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu! If you're looking for an awesome Mediterranean spot, Yafa Cafe is definitely it!

Not as good as it used to be. Who ever heard of a Greek salad with flavorless dressing, no olives and no feta?

The people who run thisbpalce are very nice and the service was great... the food was not up to my expectations though. Definitely worth a visit, but dont go in expecting to much. The Hummus was good, the pita was good, the falafel was good, the meats were only okay. It might be the quality of the cut of meat or the preparation, but I did not like the lamb or beef.

Yafa's is such a great standby in downtown Louisville. The food is always, always, always delicious and freshly prepared. The falafel sandwich is my favorite and their fries are to die for. The only issue is that the service and speed can be really hit or miss; one day I'll wait for 20 minutes for seemingly no reason and another I'm in and out almost instantly. But, I love this place and will continue to go back almost weekly!
