“Stopped by while visiting from Indiana on a 2 day girls trip and I have to say they served the best Chai Latte I have EVER had. Loved it so much I made sure that we drove back through Midway to get another cup for the road trip home!! Tasted the exact same as the day before :) I got the one called “Sweater Weather” (Chai Latte & Toasted Marshmallow)! I wish there was one where I lived, I would go there everyday! Better than Starbucks.“

“We toured the distillery on Monday, July 15, 2024. The grounds are very beautiful and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgable about the history of the distillery. However, my wife and I both felt rushed at the tasting portion. We booked the last tour of the day and the staff was chomping at the bit to go home. I was undecided as to which bottles to buy and almost left without buying one. I asked one of the workers at the gift shop about one of the bourbon's and she knew nothing about the differences. Also, the parking lot and gift shop are both gated so we had to rush to get on the shuttle and get out before our car got locked in. They need to stop the last tour at 3 and not offer a 3:30 tour.“

I would definitely go back! The hot chicken sandwich was the best I’ve ever had! My husband ordered the mushroom stroganoff and he ate every bite!“

“Normally I’m in the Bluegrass Airport really early or really late and was excited to finally give this place a try. The burrito was big with bold flavors. I only wish there was a veggie/sour cream/guac option as well. Nonetheless it was really good and the salsa was very fresh. Dan’s service was solid for everyone in the place. It was lunchtime and not super busy, so the atmosphere was very chill. Can’t wait to come back.“

“We had the nicest evening at The Brown Barrel tonight! The food was amazing and the service was stellar! I highly recommend the Keeneland Breeze bourbon cocktail to start. Nice and smooth!! Our salads were so fresh and ice cold. The Atlantic salmon served over butternut squash was perfectly prepared. We finished with the bourbon pecan pie which was delightfully delicious. Our waitress, Billie Jean was the best part of our experience at the Brown Barrel. She has the cutest personality and we so enjoyed our lively conversations. I would certainly recommend this gem of a restaurant for a great meal and impeccable service. Don’t forget to ask for Billie Jean!“
