we decided we wanted to go to Midway to experience European Christmas market and I had heard from several friends that heirloom was wonderful. It did not disappoint. All four of us absolutely loved our meals like the ambience. Our server was awesome and we will definitely go back.
Had long awaited an opportunity to dine at your restaurant, but my high expectations were not quite fulfilled. I had the famous fig grilled cheese and found it to be average. I ordered the sweet potato waffle fries as a side and they were overdone and cold. I also ordered a cup of the lobster bisque and received a “thimble” amount which was also cold, certainly not worth the $7 charged for the “cup”. We enjoyed our visit and the lunch offerings. The only glitch was that it took a long time after our plates were cleared to receive our checks and an even longer time to pay. Due to a problem with our rental car, we were a little late. The restaurant had plenty of open tables, though, so it didn't seem to be a problem. They actually called us while we were trying to find a parking space. They were quite gracious.
